6 Linda Woods Linda Woods, MA, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years experience as an employment specialist and career counselor. After graduating from CU, she worked for 7 years as Team Leader of the 50+ Employment Opportunities program of Workforce Boulder County where she counseled job seekers individually and in small groups. After leaving that position in 2000, she became a contractor for Boulder County where she facilitates two weekly Rebound groups for unemployed depressed clients and counsels clients individually who are in the midst of career changes. She also facilitates a monthly On Track! group for people over 50 needing to network with others regarding their job search. Linda has been trained on the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Inventory) personality assessment, which she frequently uses to help with career decision-making. In her private practice, Linda enjoys counseling clients of all ages on a variety of Life/Work issues. This includes serving as the Director of Career Services for 22 years at CU Boulder. Prior to that, I was the director for seven years at two eastern universities. I remained an active counselor and workshop facilitator in my director role. I have counseled many alumni in their career transitions. I regularly led workshops and made career presentations to student and alumni groups. I have extensive employer interaction through all the marketing and services we offered employers, as well as many current contacts with employers and the business community.
