5 Dan Macy (continued) Learning (CAEL) Pathways program for Qwest employees since Certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) and Certified Myers-Briggs interpreter. Master of Arts in Counseling from University of San Francisco. Valentine Roche My parents immigrated to the USA from Eastern Europe to find freedom and pursue a better life. While they worked hard and experienced many challenges, their talents (vision, courage, risktaking and determination) helped them accomplish extraordinary goals. I am a first generation college graduate whose education evolved into various leadership roles that include teaching, management and leadership training, organizational development and career coaching. I am a strength focused career (work & life) coach. My coaching philosophy is based on the coactive coaching model, meaning that I believe my clients are naturally creative, resourceful and whole. When I work with an individual or group, I address the client s whole life. The agenda comes from the client, and a relationship is developed with the client defining how they want to be coached. The client is involved in creating a powerful relationship that fits their working and learning styles. Examples of a client agenda: Where do you want to make a difference with your life? What do you value most in your relationship with others? What works for you when you are successful at making changes? Where do you usually get stuck? My coaching talents are: Focused listening on the other person with empathy, creativity, clarification, and collaboration. Ability to observe the impact I m having and adjusting my behavior accordingly. Finding the best in individuals, teams, and organizations. Developing and applying strategies and tools for successful results. My clients are extraordinary professionals (faculty, engineers, scientists, leaders and teams) in higher education, technology, and other business environments. They succeed in making career (work & life) transitions, developing leadership competency, increasing self-confidence, creating work/life balance, engaging in productive relationships, cultivating creativity, and living extraordinary lives.

She also facilitates a monthly On Track! group for people over 50 needing to network with others regarding their job search. Linda has been trained on the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Inventory) personality assessment, which she frequently uses to help with career decision-making. In her private practice, Linda enjoys counseling clients of all ages on a variety of Life/Work issues. YWCA Gordon Gray, Program Manager BIO for Gordon Gray: I am a career development professional with 34 years of experience.
