2 What is TOCNET A communications system comprised of Gateways & User Access Units Gateways emcsu, MCSU-VX, MCSU-V, etc. Serves as hub, switch, mux for both voice and data services Provides HW interface to external assets (radios, Ethernet, POTS, etc.) User Access Units CAU, ecau, TRIM, Soft CAU, etc. Serves as the Human Machine Interface to the Communications System Allows the user to access TOCNET services (e.g.. radios, VoIP call, intercom nets, etc.) Provides differing levels of functionality and are tailored to specific operator roles TOCNET -C TOCNET -V TOCNET is a software defined digital intercommunication system Provides industry standard external interfaces Uses open standards, modular and expandable Easily upgraded to support new features and expanded capabilities via SW updates TOCNET -G4 See cover page for disclaimer 2
