5 Description of the program Interactive stations Multi Touch Table: Demonstrator Connected Mobility How does our mobility change in the future? What will be the common modes of transport and what will happen, if the degree of networking between indivi dual traffic participants becomes better. Multi Touch Table: Micro-Smart-Grid The demonstration table provides visitors an easy to understand and visual explanation of many aspects of energy supply. At it s core, the table is a dynamic simulation of all energy flows between generators, energy consumers and accumulators. The latter are represented by physical tokens and can be positioned and combined to test different scenarios and help explain specific questions. Smart Board: The Innovation Map Technologies accompany us wherever we go. The increasing digitalization is changing the world we live in radically. Transport-, energy- and communi cation systems will convert and grow together in that context. In the future, they will seen as one entity. The Innovation Map gives an overall picture of this new interconnected world. Diverse innovations will be visualized together and shown from a bird s eye perspective. 6 Description of the program - Lectures 1. Topic: Trends of mobility What are the current developments and trends of the mobility market and what are the consequences of worldwide megatrends for mobility in different areas? General tendencies and changes in the behavior regarding mobility and the changing customer requirements will be focused on. Furthermore, possible future samples and challenges will be identified, for example: What is the the mobility-behavior of the adolescents like today? Which consequences may this behavior have for the year 2030? 2. Topic: Present and future Mobility-types Knowing the customer attitudes concerning their mobility is essential to the competitiveness on the mobility market. This knowledge gives insight into why certain mobility-services or products are or aren t used by specific target groups or why not yet? With the aid of Mobility-types, it is possible to optimize mobility-services and to work with better target group focus. 3. Topic: Sustainable concepts for the mobile city In this lecture, different sustainable concepts for the city like connected mobility, electric mobility and bike- und car-sharing are introduced. Automated driving and the importance of mobility-hubs (for example the Südkreuz station in Berlin) are further subjects. 4. Topic: Digital mobility of tomorrow in the city of today Smartphones considerably promote the accessibility of public transport and shared mobility offers. Mobility services like intermodal routing or ticketing apps and bike, pedestrian or indoor routing apps provide travelling information on the go. Alongside this, mobile internet data also reveals interesting information about the use of urban spaces. Visualized in simulations or dashboards, digital mobility data can become an important planning tool for a sustainable urban and transportation planners. 5. Topic: The Micro-Smart-Grid at the EUREF-Campus The development and the future of the Micro- Smart-Grid at the EUREF-Campus, providers, consumers, the function and the future networking with other Micro-Smart-Grids as well as inductive charging and charging-lanterns. 6. Topic: Smart Cities are not Rocket Science For life in the city of the future, mobility, energy and digitalization are very important factors. Most things or products don t need to be reinvented like the bicycle or the train station - but we have to be open to new thoughts and need to connect different mobility-options with one another. New and simple technologies can be used to support the mobility in a human-centered, attractive, vital and safe city. Depending on your main interest, we can gladly exchange modules. We are furthermore networked with multiple startups who are working on new ideas and prototypes with regard to the topics of mobility, energy and ICT.
