2 Premier MDC Software FEATURES AT A GLANCE State/NCIC/NLETS real-time wireless access to national, state and local databases. Messaging provides secure communication between officers, vehicles and dispatch at the touch of a button. CAD Integration provides incident detail and vehicle status. In-Vehicle Status offers a quick way for officers to advise dispatch of their on-duty status. RMS Integration extends in-house inquiry capability to mobile users out in the field. Text-to-Voice feature automatically reads the information sent by State, CAD, RMS, Messaging and Mapping. In-Vehicle Reporting gives officers the ability to complete and wirelessly transmit on-scene reports. In-Vehicle Mapping uses Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites to track and monitor vehicle locations and map out incident address locations shown graphically on the map in the officer s mobile data computer. In-Vehicle Mugshot Integration allows officers in their vehicles to download mugshots from an existing imaging mugshot database. In-Vehicle Paging allows mobile officers and supervisors to page any one with a pager that has been entered into the system. Chat allows officers to have a wireless conference call leaving voice channels open for emergencies.

From its silent and secure messaging and in-vehicle reporting, to customizable user interface and forms, Premier MDC software offers unsurpassed features and security. 4 ONE PRODUCT PROVIDING INSIGHT AND READINESS FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND Dispatch Integration: The dispatch feature of Premier MDC software provides the transmission of secure, detailed incident information from dispatchers to field personnel. Premier MDC software contains an intuitive dispatch alarm that alerts officers to incoming dispatches via audible and visual signals. The officer can hear the dispatch information using the text-to-voice option, or read and review the dispatch as needed. Chat: Officers are able to have a wireless conference call lea voice channels open for emergencies. New chat rooms can be dynam created for specific topics and for sensitive discussions, a pri room can be created for invited only participants. Dispatch. The Dispatch window displays information sent to the mobile officer from the dispatcher. This might include headquarters, dispatch, a supervisor or another car. User groups can quickly be created so that routing can be more easily accomplished. Dispatchers can also transmit broadcast messages from their workstations to all units and users currently logged onto the system. State / NCIC / NLETS Access: The State/NCIC/ NLETS feature of Premier MDC software provides easy and quick access to state/dmv and federal databases, including the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS) and the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). These databases, containing information about vehicles, people, and property, can all be accessed through a single-entry check using advanced radio technology with compressed and encrypted data transmissions. Messaging. The Messaging window displays messages sent to the mobile officer. Officers can read and respond to messages, save them for review at a later time, or hear the message over the speaker via text-to-voice messaging. State. The State window displays information sent to the mobile officer by the State/NCIC/NLETS databases. Officers can review the list of State responses, view details of the selected response, and then go in for a closer look using the zoom feature.

The in-house administrator can restrict access to internal documents or allow full access to the Intranet and Internet. Intranet. In-Vehicle Mugshots: The mugshot feature of Premier MDC software allows officers in their vehicles to download mugshots from an existing imaging mugshot database. Premier MDC software can also download any data associated with the mugshot such as name, date of birth and nationality. Officers can use this powerful tool to quickly confirm the identity of an individual. The identivue product from intellinetics is fully integrated with Premier MDC software, providing web-based access to mugshot databases. Vehicle Status: The status feature of Premier MDC software allows an officer to send the dispatcher a change code that indicates the officer s latest status. Officers can preview other officer vehicles and predefined group statuses with the easy-to-use in-vehicle status feature. Status. Status changes can include en route to the scene, on the scene, or has just arrived at the scene, as well as view vehicle status for all units. Mugshots. The Mugshot window displays mugshot profiles and other data, including hand orientation, palm print, aliases, and scars/marks/tattoos.
6 PREMIER MDC REPORTING FULLY CUSTOMIZED FOR EASE OF OFFICER USE Premier MDC Reporting enables officers in the field to quickly and easily fill out and submit reports directly from within their vehicles, virtually eliminating the need to fill out paperwork at headquarters. Premier MDC Reporting imports CAD incident and state data that can be intelligently populated into key fields to help save valuable time and to ensure accuracy of data entry. The reports are wirelessly submitted to supervisors with encrypted and compressed data for fast and secure data transmissions. Existing paper reports are digitally converted to on-screen electronic paper for ease of input. Since your agency s current forms are used, there is no learning curve as you are already familiar with the form and field layout. Because officers create and submit reports wirelessly, they remain in their vehicles ready to protect and serve their communities. With Premier MDC Reporting, officers can fill out incident reports from within their vehicles. Because it is fully integrated when a call comes in, officers can save the report as a draft and return to it later, then transmit it to headquarters when they have completed it. Premier MDC Reporting makes preparation easier and more accurate than ever. Not only can officers import and populate data into key fields, but also use drop-down selection lists to enter predefined data as well as spell-check to ensure accuracy before submitting reports.
7 PREMIER MDC MESSAGE SWITCH HANDLES TRAFFIC QUICKLY AND RELIABLY At the heart of the Premier MDC system is the message switch running on Microsoft Windows NT server. The Premier MDC message switch ensures that information requests generated by the officer in the vehicle are transmitted to the appropriate databases. The message switch provides access to state registration and driver s license information, National Crime Information Center (NCIC), National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS) databases, and Records Management Systems (RMS). It also provides messaging functions as well as CAD interface and integration. That s a lot of information to traffic, but the time-tested Premier MDC message switch has earned its place in hundreds of installations. Once a response returns from the state or other database, the message switch quickly transmits it back to the officer in the vehicle who initiated the inquiry. The Premier MDC message switch includes a fullfeatured system administration utility, on-scene reports, full system logging of all information to and from the vehicle, system console showing traffic and user statistics, remotely upgradable delivery system to upgrade client software, and a lot more. The Server Console Main window allows administrators to view the activity of the system, including who is logged on, how many users are logged on, the services available, and the data traffic being sent and received. With Premier MDC server reporting, administrators can generate reports showing usage statistics about User Registry, Messaging, Chat and State queries.
