1 Oregon Batterer Intervention Providers Directory (by County) Updated: September 2010 Eric S. Mankowski, PhD., Margaret F. Braun, M.S., Brianna Finney, B.A., Alison Leach, B.A., Terry Garcia, B.A., & Gino Galvez, M.S. Portland State University Acknowledgements We would like to express our sincere thanks to the batterer intervention providers, community corrections officers, and District Attorneys of Oregon who were instrumental in providing information about current batterer intervention services in Oregon.

2 Background and Survey Method This is the third edition of this statewide directory of batterer intervention programs. The first edition was printed in 2001, and the second was printed in The purpose of this directory is to provide a comprehensive list of batterer intervention providers and programs in the state of Oregon. In collaboration with the Oregon Attorney General s BIP Advisory Committee, a team of students at Portland State University working with Eric Mankowski, PhD produced this directory. Batterer intervention providers, community corrections officers, and District Attorneys in each county throughout Oregon were contacted to find out who provided intervention for abusive men. This information was used to generate the directory. All of the information in the directory is based only on the agencies self-reports. Listing in this directory in no way implies endorsement of the program by any organization, including the Attorney General. We hope that the directory will increase knowledge of existing programs across the state, encourage consultation and interaction among batterer intervention providers, and be a resource to judges, probation officers, domestic violence shelters, and others working as part of a coordinated community response to domestic violence. If you would like a copy of the directory, or know of additional providers who should be listed in future editions, contact Eric Mankowski, PhD., Portland State University, Department of Psychology, PO Box 751, Portland, OR ; telephone: ; address: mankowskie@pdx.edu. An electronic version of this directory is available online on the Crime Victims Services Division website: Oregon BIP Directory 1/6/09 Page 2 of 21
