Centricity Clinical Archive includes Centricity Universal Viewer ZFP 2, a standards-based (DICOM & IHE-XDS) clinical information viewer that offers a highly intuitive matrix view of the patient s historical record with thumbnail features that allow for easier access. Centricity Universal Viewer ZFP is a zero footprint viewer, that not only promotes anywhere, anytime access of information, but also interfaces seamlessly with a hospital s EMR systems, providing a combined view of DICOM and non-dicom (pdf, videos, images) data. A master patient index to link patient records across network boundaries. Standardized interfaces seamless connectivity. Centricity Clinical Archive provides a messaging interface engine to combine workflow systems like HIS and RIS to update information repository and keep information consistent across systems. In addition, a device interface engine helps connect non-standard devices and systems to store data in the repository in a standards format. Mobile image acquisition application: an application that runs on a smart phone or tablet that provides for the acquisition and storage of visible light images. Images are converted to XDS format for storage and can be viewed on Centricity Universal Viewer directly or through an EMR. The acquisition device can sit on top of any storage or archive product that is able to accept and store XDS images. There is opportunity to enhance the system with cardiology, pathology, endoscopy, dermatology, ophthalmology basically all the ologies. Captured images along with relevant documentation are submitted to Centricity Clinical Archive as a cross enterprise document sharing (XDS) document. This information is updated as part of the patient record and is made available through the EMR or Centricity Universal Viewer Zero Footprint Viewer (ZFP).
