1 Disclosure of Alleged Crimes The following charts depict incidents alleged to have occurred on Celebrity Cruises ships on all voyages regardless of itinerary. The cruise industry, unlike any other commercial industry, is required to publicly disclose statistics about allegations even if the allegation is later determined by law enforcement to be unfounded. Celebrity Cruises has decided to go beyond even these unique requirements to provide the information below* The FBI publishes an annual report of statistics about land based crime called the Uniform Crime Reports (UCR). In order to provide relevant comparisons, the following chart compares UCR land based crime rates to cruise industry statistics that are reported by the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). Further details can be found at: allegations.
