Transfers to other weight accounts can be executed at any time. Authorized clients have access to their weight account balances through an internet-based application. We offer our clients the option to buy or sell the precious metals at any time from these accounts based on the prevailing market prices. Swaps and loans In connection with product or refining business at Heraeus, we offer our customers the ability to bridge temporary metal account deficits through the use of swaps or loans in order to provide precious metals liquidity. Forward trades Our customers are able to secure a future supply of precious metals by executing a forward trade. This particular transaction protects against the uncertainty of future price movements for a defined period of time.
