If you wish to extend this period for an additional 2 years you must notify the district administration office within this 2 year period. Otherwise your application will be discarded. 3. Before your initial interview you should have specific information regarding the listing "A" through "F". A. References -- Any person you list as a reference should know that his/ her names has been given. Any address and telephone number(s) of references should be a location where they can be reached or message relayed during business hours. B. Credentials -- If you wish to have your credential s considered it is your responsibility to request that they are sent to the District Administration Office. C. Certificate and Licenses -- When completing information about certificates or licenses you should use the specific information listed on the certificate. If you hold an out-of-state certificate or license, you should investigate factors relative to converting to Ohio certification or license. D. Transcripts -- You should be prepared to produce transcripts or official records to verify all work which has a bearing on the position for which you are applying. E. Experience -- If you have a partial year of experience, you should know the exact number of days worked. Military Service, number of months. Any experience that the applicant would like evaluated for possible use in placement on experience level of the salary schedule must be included in the application. Any experience submitted after application completion will not be considered unless specifically mandated by law. F. Resume' -- A personal Resume' or past work history should be submitted along with this Application. G. All of the above information should be filed along with your Application in order to insure thorough consideration of the Application.

This requirement includes all substitutes and persons employed ona part-time basis such as coaches or activity supervisors. In additional, all profeessional staff members with a license, certificate, or permit issued by the Ohio Department of Educatio must undergo a criminal background check at the time of the renewal of same or, in the case of a permanent teaching certifiate, no less than every five (5) years on or before September 5th of the fifth year. Such background check is not otherwise rquired of any currenly-employed staff member who is a candidate for another position with the District. The cost of this records check must be paid for by the applicant. The fingerprinting should be done through Stark County Educational Service Center, th Street NW, Canton, Ohio The application will be forwarded to the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The results of this records check will be returned to the Treasurer's Office or the Business Office prior to being employed full-time part-time or as a substitute. The results of the BCII records check will be placed in the employee's personnel file. Be aware that if the applicant does not successfully complete the BCII background check, he or she will not be employed by the Marlington Board of Education.
