5 Specifications All specifications stated herein are subject to change without notice. Any product dimensions stated herein are nominal. Construction Nevins magnetized Glass Boards are manufactured in the U.S.A and are LEED certified. They are constructed of clear 1/4" tempered glass with polished edges, square corners, include a vinyl backer and magnetized metal back plate (white finish is standard; onyx available by request). A special coating is incorporated into the manufacturing process to allow for decades of crisp clear use. Unlike standard white boards, your glass writing board will never ghost, dent or yellow with age. Included with each glass board is the mounting hardware, mounting holes, 1 acrylic holder, 1 dry erase marker and 1 rare earth magnet. Glass Finishes The standard glass finish is white. Additional finishes including, White, Onyx, Frosted and Etched are available by request. Please contact Nevins Customer Service Department. Vinyl Backer Colors Standard backer color is WB010 white; an array of 29 colors are available at a no cost premium. Colors Samples Nevins Glass Board color samples are 12" x 12" and can include up to 3 colors on a single 12" x 12" sample. Please contact Nevins Customer Service Department. Fixture (Stand Off) Hardware The standard mounting fixture is a two part 1 1/2" dia. stand off. The stand off allows the glass to float 1/2" from the wall. This design allows for mounting directly to drywall, cement or brick. The (4) fixture holes are placed 1" from the corner edges. Boards 60"L or greater have (2) additional fixture holes placed 1" from the top and bottom edge at the width center point. The standard fixture finish is SLFX silver powder coat. Alternate finishes, available at a no cost premium, include charcoal, copper and white. Alternate Mounting Hardware For against the wall mounting requirements, Nevins offers "Hugger" mounting, which utilizes a top and bottom mounting bar. Please contact Nevins Customer Service Department. Custom Graphics Nevins can apply custom graphics to any size glass board. We can apply any size logo, image, grid, calendar, map or border anywhere on the board. Please contact Nevins Customer Service Department. Custom Frames Nevins can apply framework to your glass board. Framing options include, wood, aluminum and cubicle framing. Please contact Nevins customer Service Department. Care and Maintenance Use a dry eraser or dry paper towel to wipe away dry erase markings regularly. Any dry erase markers can be used. Occasional cleaning using a dry erase board cleaner, glass cleaner or wet paper towel to maintain clear visibility is recommended. Warranty Nevins Glass Writing Boards have a 10 year limited warranty against staining, ghosting, yellowing and denting. Not included in this warranty are the following conditions: normal wear and tear, natural weathering or fading of hardware or finishes, including corrosion in highly corrosive environments. Glass breakage, scratches, failure due to misuse, abuse, lack of maintenance, or by alteration to the board. Improper handling, installation or maintenance. Damage from settling or movement of wall or building. Condensation due to excessive humidity levels in building. Labor and materials for installation of a complete replacement product or any repainting or finishing required in connection with any warranty work. Incidental or consequential damage. LEED Nevins Glass Boards are LEED Certified products. All elements of the Nevins Glass Writing Boards are manufactured in New York using the finest GREEN ecologically friendly materials and processes.
