1 Budget Payment Program Attached are twelve (12) coupons for use in making installment payments on your taxes so that you can minimize the final amount due on the due date. At your option, you can make a payment any time. Use all twelve coupons, or only the ones you want. The amount of each payment is also entirely up to you. Please remember that all prior taxes must be paid in full to start this program. Overpayments will be credited to your future tax bills. You can pay by check or money order made payable to: Hanover County Mail your payments to: Hanover County Treasurer P. O. Box 200 Hanover, Virginia or pay online at The annual taxes are due February 5. You can make a payment any month(s), February through November. Prepayments received by November 15 will reflected on your annual bill. Any amount received will be applied to your total account, not a specific vehicle. The semi-annual taxes are due June 5 and October 5. You can make a payment any month(s), October throught September. To ensure your semi-annual real estate tax bills reflect the correct balance due, prepayments should be received by April 1 for the first half installment and August 1 for the second half installment. Any payments received after the above dates may not reflect on your printed bill(s). We hope you find this program useful.
