The US economy declined by 0.5% in Q3 2008, with economists projecting declines of 2.5% to 3.6% in US real GDP in Q and further declines in H Continued declines are in prospect for computer equipment in Q and H1 of 2009, with little or no growth in communications equipment and IT services. 10 The Dynamic Enterprise Survey In May 2008, Forrester Consulting conducted an online survey commissioned by Alcatel-Lucent Senior Business and IT Executives in North America and Western Europe were asked about new communications and collaboration tools, software and solutions to improve employee efficiency and to support business goals for innovation and competitiveness Verticals: Manufacturing, Retail & Wholesale Trade, Business Services, Media, Utilities and Telecommunications, Finance and Insurance, Government and Public Sector 10 Entire contents 2009 Forrester Research, Inc. For each, please rate the level of challenge for your organization on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 = Not a challenge at all and 5 = Significant challenge.
