In July of 1972 the College moved into a single campus on Mahan Drive. Thames Valley State Technical College opened in 1963 with a single campus in Norwich. On May 5, 1992, the Connecticut General Assembly enacted Public Act merging the community and technical colleges. Three Rivers Community College is one of those merged institutions. vi
