2 Phone Setup Follow the instructions in the figures below to install a micro-sim card, microsd card, and battery. Then press and hold the power button to turn on your phone. Press the center on the rear cover of the phone and lift off the battery cover via the slot at the end of the cover. Insert the micro-sim card and microsd card into their respective slots. Ensure that the gold contact areas of the cards are facing down. Align the battery's exposed gold contact areas with the battery connectors inside the battery compartment. Insert the contact side of the battery first and then gently push the battery into place. Close the battery cover by aligning it with the slot of the phone and pressing it back into place.
3 GoPhone Account Auto Refill Take the hassle out of refilling your account by enrolling in Auto Refill. From Your Device Call 6 from your phone. From the main menu, say "more options," and then say, "Set up auto pay." Online Visit att.com/mygophone. Under Auto Refill, select Sign Up > Manage My Account > Auto Refill. Add Money with a Credit Card, Debit Card, or Checking Account Call 6 from your phone and say, "Add money." Go to att.com/ mygophone and select the Credit Card Payment link. Add Money by Purchasing a GoPhone Refill Card Call 6 from your phone and say, "Add money." Enter *888*, followed by your PIN number, the # key, and then press Send. Go to att.com/mygophone and select the Refill link.
4 Calling and Voic Making a call Enter the initials or first few letters of a contact's name, or part of the contact's phone number. Matching contacts are then displayed in a list. From the list, select the contact you want to call. To end the call, touch. Checking your voic Touch on the dialer. Follow the voice instructions to listen to your voic messages.
5 Touch Screen and Navigation Browsing your phone Use your fingertip to lightly touch the screen. Flick left and right across the screen to switch between the home screens. Touch to return to the previous screen or to exit the current application. Touch to return to the home screen. Touch to display an option menu. Notification panel On the home screen, flick down from the status bar to open the notification panel. Touch Clear to dismiss all notifications. Touch the shortcuts to turn on or off the functions. Touch to display the settings screen.
6 Contacts Importing contacts from a SIM card Touch > Import/Export > Import from SIM card. Touch the contacts you want to import or touch All to select all contacts. Touch IMPORT. Editing a contact Touch and hold the contact you want to edit, and touch Edit. Edit the contact information. Touch SAVE.
7 Adding an account Select an account type. Enter your address, Password or other information, then touch Next. Follow the onscreen instructions to configure your account. The system then automatically connects to the server and checks server settings. Sending an Touch. Enter one or more recipients, and write your message. Touch to upload any attachments. 8 Customize Home Screen Changing the wallpaper On the home screen, touch and hold a blank area and touch WALLPAPERS. Random change: Have the home screen wallpaper change randomly. Adding a widget On the home screen, touch and hold a blank area and touch WIDGETS. Flick left to view more widgets. Touch and hold the widget you want to add and drag it to the home screen.

Your phone then displays matching websites as you type. Touch the website you want to visit. Your browser supports multi-page browsing. Touch to switch between pages.
11 Camera and Video Recording Taking a photo On the home screen, touch Touch. to select a capture mode. Frame the scene you want to capture. Let your camera focus automatically or touch the screen to focus on that specific area. Touch. Recording a video. On the home screen, touch Frame the scene you want to record. Touch to start recording. During the recording, touch an object or area you want to focus on. Touch to stop recording.
