4 Seminar offer for developers FirstSpirit Developer Fundamentals With these training courses, software developers acquire comprehensive fundamental knowledge for purposeful implementation of FirstSpirit projects. All e Spirit partners who have at least e Spirit Trained Partner status have taken these courses. FirstSpirit Developer Training Basic The basic training is aimed at customers and partners who want to develop their own projects with FirstSpirit. It teaches all the basic principles of template development with the objective of creating a complete demo project. Requirements: Participants need general knowledge in HTML and scripting languages like JavaScript. Contents: architecture of FirstSpirit, fundamentals of project management, structure of the SiteArchitect (JavaClient) new features introduced by FirstSpirit 5 url management with FirstSpirit 5 template development: creating pages, sections, format, link and table templates linking databases rights/permissions management using dynamic input forms workflows using usability features correctly Duration: 4 days FirstSpirit Developer Training Basic (4.2) The basic training offered on basis of FirstSpirit release 4.2 will no longer be offered beginning beyond August. 5 FirstSpirit 5.1 Upgrade Training The FirstSpirit Upgrade Training is aimed at customers and partners who have experiences in implementing FirstSpirit projects using the FirstSpirit 4.x releases and plan to migrate or start a project based on the new product release. It teaches which step must be taken account for migrating and how to use the new features. The system provides an API interface for precisely this purpose. The advanced training builds on participation of the FirstSpirit Developer Training Basic and is aimed at experienced FirstSpirit developers. This means that we can address the project specific needs and specifically train the developers. Our trainers find out your requirements in advance and match the seminar agenda accordingly. During the coaching we teach how modules are optimally integrated in the FirstSpirit system environment. FirstSpirit AppCenter Integration With the AppCenter, e Spirit enables seamless interface integration of virtually any web application and Java application into the FirstSpirit editing environment. This unique integration decisively optimizes the work processes of editors, because they can work directly in the SiteArchitect (JavaClient) using their usual applications with their familiar look and function, without having to leave FirstSpirit. AppCenter Integration Training In this training course you are introduced to the AppCenter integration and by way of example you develop your first application integration in the FirstSpirit SiteArchitect (JavaClient). 9 FirstSpirit User Experience Bridge With the User Experience Bridge (UX Bridge) we provide extensive infrastructure that allows the developer to integrate existing applications into FirstSpirit administered Live websites or to supply CMS content to new, interactive and dynamic web applications. Apart from integrating web applications UX Bridge offers a lot more features. It enables the developer to publish content from FirstSpirit to almost any target platform desired (e.g. mobile smartphone applications). UX Bridge Developer Training In this training course developers will learn about releasing message based content from the FirstSpirit CMS. Participants will experience the UX Bridge setup, discuss various architecture scenarios as well as learn about the Repository Adapter which is used to feed FirstSpirit content to a fully functional demo application. In this context the attendees will also be taught different ways of connecting to various types of repositories which could, for example, be SQL or NoSQL databases. Each FirstSpirit training course for authors is individually structured, because it is not drawn up on the basis of a standard project, but is tailored to the specific project implemented by the customer. Editor training courses are limited to ten participants to ensure a pleasant learning atmosphere. FirstSpirit Editor Training The basic training is designed for learning on the job the online editors tasks are trained in the solution specifically implemented for them, in which they will subsequently work independently. Under these real conditions, all functions used in everyday editing work are learned. If features are irrelevant for a project, the users are spared superfluous training.
