UMS is scheduling a new cycle for IDAMS in 2015/2016, as a follow-up on the very successful cycle of 2012/2013. Start data collection in Q4-2015; Final report will be delivered in Q Value-based Asset Management enhances your decision making and could result in up to a 20% savings on OPEX/CAPEX, provided you adhere to a clearly defined risk profile. 3 IDAMS Introduction The International Distribution Asset Management Study (IDAMS) is a multi-company initiative, designed for the front running companies in the area of Asset Management. It creates insights into leading practices for improving the effectiveness of Asset Management and is aligned to ISO and PAS 55. The IDAMS program focuses on four areas: Operating Model; Process; Competences; Information Management & Enabling Technology. IDAMS is unique as it serves four principal purposes: 1. Pinpoint improvement in the organisations Asset Management. 2. Back up findings with figures 3. Compare Asset Management Practices with peers. 4. Develop Best Practices with peers.
