IMAGin JT5000 series is designed specifically for solvent-based and UV ink jet printing and JT1000 series for water-based ink jet printing. Available in widths from 30" 79", matte and gloss finishes and permanent or removable adhesive, you can only IMAGin what MACtac has to offer you. DIGITAL MEDIA MACtac 's research and development team has made a revolutionary discovery of a line of pressure sensitive films which are easier to apply and reposition than traditional films. These innovative films will help applicators save on application time and increase profitability. The film has a thermal set feature built into the film that allows ultra conformability when the film is post heated to 220 degrees. Air bubbles and wrinkles are easily pushed out thanks to the micro-structure of the adhesive. The product is coated on one side with an aggressive, permanent, acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive that bonds well to flat or maderately rough concrete and asphalt surfaces. These films are great for manufacturing signs, designing POP as well as retail store environments. Vinylefx films are available in Decorative and Outdoor Durable, versions. 6

9 Solvent, UV, Eco-Solvent Media Tips for successful digital media application Select the correct media for the surface in which the graphic will be applied. Use the proper media for Indoor or outdoor applications on flat, curved or complex curves. Check manufacturers recommendations. Select the correct ICC profile, to match the printer, RIP program, ink set and media. Check manufacturer's websites for latest ICC profile download. Allow image to fully dry lying flat for 24 hours prior to applying an over laminate film. If laminated too soon, the trapped solvents will continue to attack the media reducing the durability and may attach the adhesive. Even though most printers print roll to roll, it is recommended to allow the image to fully dry lying flat and unrolled for 24 hours. ALL manufactures of digital media recommend a 24 hour dry time with solvent and eco solvent prints. If doing a vehicle wrap, the ideal location for installation is indoor in a controlled environment. The surface of the vehicle should be cleaned 24 hours prior to application and kept indoors to allow drying. The surface should be clean, dry, smooth and free of any contaminate such as grease, oils, silicone, wax, salt and road grime. Just prior to application, the vehicle should be wiped down with isopropyl alcohol. As with other inkjet papers, it is recommended at media is left for 24 hours for consistent results. Polymer (swellable) media types: As with other aqueous inkjet papers, 24 hours drying time should be allowed for consistent results and before lamination to allow the print to fully dry.
