2 Eco-Smart What is Eco-Smart? UltraTech was the first to recognize the advantage and the reduced impact on the environment that products made of recycled materials could provide. In 1996, we introduced the Economy Model Ultra- Spill Pallet, the first recycled product of its kind in the industry by ANY manufacturer. We ve since introduced a number of other products in our spill containment and other product lines that have up to 100% recycled content. But we also continue to strive to provide the best quality products available on the market. So to insure that our recycled Eco-Smart products meet the tough standards of the rest of our line, we will only use our own scrap material in our containment products. In other words, we know exactly what s going into our products. We will not buy recycled resin from an unknown source or with no known heat history. It is impossible to know what the structural integrity of a recycled containment product is if you don t know what it is made from. Throughout our catalog you will see the Eco-Smart logo telling you that the product that it is on has up to 100% recycled content. Because of resin availability, production and other manufacturing variables, the exact percentages of recycled material for a product at any given time, can vary somewhat. Eco-Smart is also used to designate products that are biodegradable, phosphorus-free, use natural materials or assist in recycling. Please feel free to contact us for more specific numbers and information. 5 New Products NEW Ultra-Spray-A-Berm Create Custom Sized/Shaped Containment Areas Around Equipment, Tanks, And Transformers That Cannot Be Moved Custom spill containment areas are easily created around large tanks and/or equipment that cannot be easily moved. Two-part, expandable, polymer foam is sprayed around the perimeter of the included liner. Berm liner is pre-cut at the factory to match required dimensions/specifications. Excellent for sectioning off a room and making it a secure containment area. Foam can be sanded or shaped for more finished appearance. Included Ultra-Top Coat spray provides added UV protection and chemical resistance. Liner material of construction is Copolymer Other materials available upon request. Both the Ground Tarp and Track Belts are pre-attached (welded or heat-sealed depending on materials used) to your berm. Once you unpackage the berm and set it up, it will be ready to use with the additional protection already in place. Containment Berm Just order part number 8670 with any berm to get this great feature. Ground Tarp is orange to show detail. Standard color is black. Ground Tarp Ground Tarps go underneath the Berm. They are made from a 10-oz./sq. yd. vinyl-coated polyester woven mesh. The Ground Tarp can prevent punctures, tears and rips from occurring from rocks or debris that might be underneath the Berm s floor. Track Belts are 30 wide sections of material that lie inside of the Containment Berm and act as a buffer between a vehicle s tires and the Berm. Track Belts come in pairs and will run the length of the Berm with a few extra feet on each end so they can also cover the endwalls. Spill containment berms and concrete loading pads provide containment for trucks that are off-loading fluids but typically do not provide any spill protection at the connection point at the other end of the hose. The Ultra-Safe Connect is the answer. Unit is quickly and easily installed. Ultra-Safe Connect is designed to be left in place. Hoses connect through the bulkhead fitting in the back of the unit - leaks and drips are captured by the 3 gallon sump. Polyethylene construction will not rust or corrode.
