5 Vidisco System Configura ons* Rugged Case: For transporting all systems components easily and securely; case doubles as work platform. Both cable and wireless configurations can be placed in the same case. Room for XRS-3 portable X-ray source (or smaller source) inside the case. Backpack: Ideal for X-ray system operators working under conditions were the equipment cannot be easily rolled. Includes a ruggedized laptop with a sun-readable touch screen. System in backpack is easy to trek to hard to reach inspection areas by one person. The raw image is not altered. Optimum range, in which most of the information can be found on the image, is automatically reviewed with a click of a button. 10 Specialized So ware Tools (Par al List) Automatic Subtraction Compare two seemingly similar X-ray images automatically and discover the differences between them, at the pixel level. The subtraction tool is especially designed to discover the smallest changes, a useful function for various security analysis requirements. Great for finding bugs! Adaptive Histogram Equalization Just press a key and the adaptive histogram equalization function reveals volumes of data by showing relevant grey levels in each area of the image. This enables a clear view of items with different density. Automa c Subtrac on Bug Detected! 800% Zoom Non digitizing zoom exposes extra fine details. Despite the enlargement, the details remain smooth with no pixelization. Overlay A process, in which X-ray images taken with various exposure levels are blended into one image. This function helps viewing objects that contain both easy and hard to penetrate materials. Summation By selecting the summation function, the user can take multiple X-ray images and the software adds the previous reading to the new image. This readout accumulation results in improved penetration. Case with Detonators Image Enhanced by Adap ve Histogram Sharpening Tool This tool allows the sharpening of images, outlining matriculate details in the object, which are not always seen otherwise, without adding noise to the image.
