5 SECURITY Toshiba e-studio MFP protects confidential documents and reduces the volume of unnecessary printouts. With Secure Print, users print jobs to a virtual queue and releases them for printing to any Toshiba e-studio MFP. Secure Print also requires user authentication. Simply swipe your card or enter an account code to collect confidential documents. In addition, the authorisation of print jobs, prior to release is supported by managers, teachers or system administrator. For Security COLLABORATION Combines multiple formats for printing and finishing. E.g. Monthly Reports Do you manually compile reports, tenders or documents from multiple formats such as Word, Excel and PDF? With one click, e-bridge Job Build ex automatically combines various file formats, paper types and settings into one neatly printed document. MOBILITY e-bridge Print & Capture is an application that allows you to utilise Toshiba e-studio MFPs to print and scan from your mobile device. While our previous MFPs were excellent in those categories, at Toshiba, we do not simply settle for excellence. Better Security Toshiba s Self-Encrypting Hard Disk Drive is now a standard feature in e-studio6570c series. It improves data security and reduces the risk of stored sensitive information in the e-studio6570c series from being leaked. This new technology allows users to determine a range of security settings, including invalidation of encryption keys and data invalidation when a drive is removed from its housing or connected to an unauthorised host system. When the HDD is removed or stolen from the e-studio6570c series and installed into another device, the HDD data is erased automatically. At the end of the MFP lease or life, the data can be instantly erased by the service technician. Doing more for our planet Toshiba has always worked hard to keep environmental impact to a minimum, developing many of the world s leading technologies to conserve energy and protect the environment. The e-studio6570c series is proof of that. A dramatic reduction in power consumption during its sleep mode down to 5W has been achieved, as well as an overall reduction of power by as much as 40%. The new design incorporates approximately 30% recycled plastics, which is part of the reason there has been an impressive reduction in carbon dioxide. This new line of MFPs also qualifies for Energy Star Tier 2 compliance.
