12 Background The idea of the Ideal Patient Experience was originated as part of the MultiVision Conference in The MultiVision Conference involved hundreds of MultiCare employees, providers and patients and was designed to identify what would be characteristics of an ideal patient experience. From this conference, a number of foundational initiatives were identified and have been pursued by MHS management since this time. 12
