If you want to take advantage of new report functionality, you will need to convert the reports to the new report definition format in the SQL Server 2005 Report Designer.

O entries can be used when starting Cash Manager to enter outstanding items or to enter one-sided adjustments to Cash Manager balances to correct data entry errors for the purposes p of reconciliation. DO review the value in GLTRAN.S4Future11 for those transactions entered in General Ledger that did not or sho ould not have gone over to Cash Manager. DO specify a Company ID when running CA Integrity Check ( ) in a multi-company database. Leaving the Company ID blank will only rebuild balances for the current Company as opposed to all Companies.
18 ash Manager KB Cash Manager Don ts DO NOT use Initialize Mode to del lete batches from General Ledger that have updated Cash Manager balances. DO NOT enter Cash Accounts in the detail level of screens such as AP Voucher and Adjustment Entry ( ) or AR Invoice and Memo ( ). DO NOT define Cash Accounts as default accounts in a setup screen (for example, Payroll Deduction Maintenance ( )) except for screens defining default Cash Accounts (for example, AP Setup ( )). DO NOT use Cash accounts used DO NOT change a date or period in an already-released GL batch. It does not update CA. as a default account for an Entry Type.

24 ventory KB How to enable the "Lot/Se erial" button so that you can edit the lot numbers or the serial numbers in a batch tha is partially released in Inv ventory in Microsoft Solomon To enable the Lot/Serial button in the batch entry screen, turn on Initialize Mode before you open the screen. To do this, follow these steps: Log on to Microsoft Business Solutions - Solomon by using the SYSADMIN user ID. On the Options menu, click Initialize Mode In the Modules list, click Inventory.

Click Save, and then click Finish.

31 usiness Portal - KB How to delete reports in Busine ess Portal in Microsoft Dynamics SL Method 1: Manually delete the reports 1. You can manually delete reports in Business Portal in Microsoft Dynamics SL. To do this, follow these steps: 1. In Busines ss Portal, click Site Settings, click Application Settings, point to Reports, and then click Report Scheduler. 2. In the Report List section, click the down arrow next to Reports, and then click Requests. NOTE: This action displays a list of reports that you have submitted in Business Portal. 3. Click the report you want to delete, and then click Delete Report/Request. NOTE: When you click c Delete ete Report/Re equest, the page does not update. This behavior occurs because the report has already been deleted. Therefore, if you click the report again, the Delete Report/Request button becomes unavailable (dimmed). Additionally, you receive the following error message: GetRequestOptions to ti failed. Errorinfo=<soap:server:System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System Null Reference Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
