CLIENT EXAMPLES Central 1 Credit Union MemberDirect Mobile App for ios and Android Central 1 is the primary liquidity manager, payments processor and trade association for their member credit unions in B.C. and Ontario. Central 1 provides financial products, investment banking services, payment processing solutions and direct banking services, as well as leadership and advocacy on behalf of the credit unions they represent. The organization is also a key technology provider to over 300 financial institutions in Canada through MemberDirect Services, Canada s largest outsourced direct banking solution serving more than 4 million users across desktop, mobile and phone banking. Central 1 is recognized for bringing a number of mobile firsts to the market, including mobile Interac(R) e-transfer and most recently the mobile cheque deposit feature, Deposit Anywhere. Available for iphone and Android, the MemberDirect Mobile App allows financial institutions to offer their customers sought-after daily banking services in a fast and secure mobile app environment. Infowrap ios and Android Apps Infowrap is a single webpage you create that allows you to bring together and share information. From a single page, combine any mix of information in directory formats, notes, image galleries, location maps and files. Appnovation worked with the team at Infowrap to deliver their mobile app to the ios and Android mobile platforms. The cross-platform capability was developed using AngularJS and trigger.io. FOX News 2012 Elections Candidate Tracker App FOXNews.com is a website dedicated to providing readers with today's top stories as well as political news and entertainment. Owned by News Corp., FOXNews.com also offers live coverage of major news events, lifestyle tips and magazine style guides. Appnovation worked in partnership with Google to create the Fox News Candidate Tracker application. Developed using HTML5 and JavaScript, the web application allows users to track the scheduled campaign events of the 2012 presidential candidates for the Democratic and Republican parties throughout the year. Leveraging the Google Maps and Google Calendar applications, users can search by zip code and city and view the full day's agenda for both parties' candidates for a particular date. 9 New York City Department of Transportation Drupal Responsive Designed POC Appnovation worked with the New York City - Department of Transportation to deliver a fully responsive, retina display compatible proof-of-concept (POC) built on the Drupal platform. The design concept was inspired by walking the streets of New York City. In such a complex and busy environment, people rely on simple, painted & chipped away signage on roadways to maneuver safely from A to B. Road signage is globally recognized, and a proven-to-work system that simplifies complex process flows across a wide spectrum of demographics. This is why we felt that this design concept would work great sitting on top of Drupal. KOBO Instant Reader App Kobo Inc. is one of the world's fastest-growing ereading services offering more than 2.5 million ebooks, magazines and newspapers - and counting. Recognizing the rapidly changing global app market Kobo, with an existing ios application, needed a cross-platform solution accessible by their international clientele. Using SproutCore, Appnovation helped Kobo build the Instant Reader application for HTML5 and Windows 8. In addition to Kobo's previous application capabilities, HTML5 and Windows 8 application users have: access to their complete libraries, including an Offline Mode so books can be read without an internet connection Bookmarking (both on and offline); the ability to make new purchases within the application; and, a new and improved interface. Elle DECOR LOOKBOOK APP The Elle Decor Lookbook App has been awarded Acquia's prestigious Partner Site of the Year 2013 in the Mobile category. Elle Décor is considered the ultimate guide to decorating and design. As a companion to their Lookbook website, the magazine chose Appnovation Technologies to develop a mobile app for the Apple ipad with dynamically generated sharing websites. Both the backend, API, and the dynamic sharing websites were all developed in Drupal and thanks to the Drupal backend, Elle Décor is able to: add new Feature LookBooks; publish new content; and, offer design and product companies the ability to sponsor certain room types or the entire application without having to resubmit the app to the App Store. 10 Reebok Mobile Multilingual Promotional Site For the launch of their "Reethym" product line Reebok wanted to create a site that could be sent around as a promotion to customers. Using Drupal, Appnovation created a mobile viewing site embedding the Reebok promotional YouTube video. Hosted on the Acquia Dev Cloud, the mobile site is multilingual and adapts the language according to region by detecting the viewer's IP address.
