3 FOREWARD The Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) is pleased to announce that the 2009 CCC Directory of Networking, Membership and Sectoral Groups in Cambodia is available for members as well as for the entire NGO community and the general public. This Directory has proven to be an invaluable tool in accessing updated information on specific sectors, resources and organizations committed to working together for the development of Cambodia. The 2009 Directory provides details on 32 different working groups/networks currently active in Cambodia. These groups meet to discuss, collaborate, exchange information and move forward on issues of common concern. In general, these groups aim to strengthen coordination efforts in the development community, improve information sharing, and contribute to Government planning and policy development. The composition of each group varies, and participants include International and Cambodian NGOs, government ministries, departments and officials, members of other International Organizations, and grassroots community and farming groups. This latest edition includes detailed information on each sector/working group, including their objectives, main activities, participating organizations and important contact information. Additional information is included as appendices such as an annual meeting schedule, a group contact list table, contact information of participating organizations and application form to register in this directory. Please note that informal sectoral groups have not been included in this directory. Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of the information of this directory, omissions and errors may unintentionally occur during the lead time toward final publication. CCC therefore seeks the readership and user of this directory full understanding in the event of misinformation. CCC would like to thank Oxfam Australia, and in particular Mr. Chhoun La, Program Officer for their kind financial support to assure delivery of this valuable publication. Our warm thanks also to CCC members for their support to our organization and interest in this publication. We would like to acknowledge the efforts of these groups, who are committed to working together in a spirit of cooperation and respect for the Cambodian people. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the contact people who have provided us with the information for this directory, Member Services Team for their efforts in collecting and compiling the information for this Directory. Last but not least, we would like to express great thanks to Ms. Katrina Saunder, Human Resource/ Organization Development Advisor(seconded from Australian Volunteer International), who provided technical assistance in editing this publication. Yours sincerely, Lun Borithy Executive Director July 2009 All information in this Directory is based on submissions by the groups. CCC would like to apologize for any errors or omissions. Please contact CCC with any updates or changes to your organizational details.
