Being in charge of your finances is way easier if you subscribe for a monthly credit report. You ll be able to keep track of your credit score and spending, and very importantly, our handy tips and advice will help you budget and improve your credit score. ifacts partnered with Compuscan and together developed a credit report for the consumer that is not only easy to understand, but a very useful tool to manage your credit life cycle. When I apply for credit from a credit provider, who decides whether or not I qualify for credit? When you apply for credit, the credit provider uses information received from a credit bureau to assess your application. When your credit record satisfies the standards of the credit provider, a decision to grant you credit is made by the credit provider. It is the bank, retailer or credit provider that approves or rejects the credit application and not the credit bureau. What is a credit bureau? A credit bureau is a company that gathers information and updates each consumer s credit history. A credit bureau creates a record of a consumer s credit information indicating how the consumer manages his/her credit. The credit bureau supplies these records to credit providers, such as banks, retailers and other credit providing companies. The information indicates each consumer s payment record. It is also used to detect fraud, corruption or theft. Because so many clients are left in the dark when it comes to accessing a true picture of their financial situation, ifacts and Compuscan decided to use technology to give ifacts customers access to their individual financial snapshot any time of the day or night. This not only allows you to spot irregularities or potential fraudulent activities on your accounts but enables you to monitor monthly spend. You ll know exactly what you spend and where. For just R25 per month you ll have access to useful tips and templates, helping you budget, plan for emergencies and we ll show you some easy steps that can immediately improve your score. How will a credit report from ifacts and Compuscan help me improve my credit score? An ifacts Credit Report helps you understand and manage your finances and therefore your credit score. Our helpful tips and templates will show you how to budget, how to stretch your budget and save a little extra every month. Getting a report every month means you can keep track on how your score improves, putting you in charge of your finances!

Very High Risk: Leave bank accounts open, especially those with balances. You might be tempted to close credit card accounts that have become delinquent, but wait. Before you close any account make sure it won t negatively affect your credit.
