Prescription painkillers account for the majority of all unintentional poisoning deaths. Once prescription pain killers become hard to obtain, abusers move on to heroin, which is highly available in central Ohio.

2 Since 1999, Ohio has seen a 440% Increase in drug overdose deaths. The Numbers... In Ohio, there are almost 5deaths per day from prescription drug overdoses. 146 preventable deaths permonth inohio.
