Pointing to the need for a discussion on possible solutions as a condition for the optimum. Presentation of the method of drawing a set of possible solutions and the selection rules solutions. PREREQUISITES: Theory of machines and mechanisms, Fundamentals of Machine Designcourse contents. Wydział Mechaniczny

2 COURSE CONTENTS: Lecture content: The structure of mechanical systems. Selection of mechanical structures. Kinematic geometry. Two, three and four positions of a plane figure. The angle of deviation. Issues specific synthesis mechanisms. Selection pattern of structural and geometric dimensions for selected groups of mechanisms. Lever arch mechanisms, lever arch mechanisms of członami fixed and variable length. Mechanisms flat pair higher. Cam mechanisms. Planetary gears. Mechanisms gear intermittent traffic. Selection of tolerance in kinematic systems. Project content: Implementation of a simple mechanism by pre-defined motion. Corresponding mechanism design in advance the conditions posed kinematic / or dynamic. Selection of the appropriate structural diagram for the overall concept of the mechanical system. STUDENT WORKLOAD: The student workload of 100 hours, including work in the auditorium 60 (16) hours, working alone 40 (84) hours, including preparation for class 10 (40) hours, the development of the project 20 (44) hours, to prepare for the test first completion of the lecture 10 hours. Fundamentals of numerical methods: secondorder differential equations. Presentation of selected applications of computational models used in the industry, a discussion of the physical environment, and how to deal with the simulation results obtained. METODY KSZTAŁCENIA: Pierwsza część semestru: Wprowadzenie do programu Working Model 2D, Octavia z wykorzystaniem środków audiowizualnych. Praca z ksiąŝkami. Sprawdziany z przygotowania do zajęć. Indywidualna praca studenta podczas realizacji kaŝdego laboratorium. Druga część semestru: Student rozwiązuje samodzielnie zadanie inŝynierskie z wykorzystaniem opracowanego modelu obliczeniowego. Koniec semestru: prezentacja projektu i dyskusja w grupie. 15 LEARNING OUTCOMES VERIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT CRITERIA: The reference to the learning outcomes of the field of study K_W02 K_W05 K_U08 K_U09 The method of the learning outcomes assessment grade based on written test grade based on laboratory classes A passing grade in the lecture part of the course is determined by five written responses to questions about the theoretical aspects of the subject. A passing grade in laboratory part comprises positive evaluation of reports based on each laboratory class, attendance and initiative on the part of the student. To get a credit the student has to receive both passing grades.
