13 How to implement SEO Keywords cont A Website s content is a primary ranking factor in search. Keep the following items in mind, but don t sacrifice the quality of the content for search. Keywords Primary keywords in posts or text on a Web page should be linked with the recommended shortened URLs. Primary keywords should appear approximately three times on a relevant page for optimal SEO benefit. Primary keywords should also appear in the headline or page title when relevant. Secondary keywords should appear at least once. When adding keywords to existing text, try to maintain the natural flow of the writing. Breaking out sections with heading tags that include keywords is a good way to work more keywords into a page without stuffing the content. Include links to both Intel content and relevant third-party content like blogs, research reports, and third-party partners. 13
