1 Application Procedures for International Students in Süleyman Demirel University, (SDU) Turkey The applications of the international students who are in the senior class of the high schools and who will be graduated and who have the minimum scores for the programs as stated in Table 1will be accepted. The applications of the candidates a. On condition that they are the senior class of high school or to be graduated 1. who are foreign national, 2. who is a Turkish citizen by birth and who get the permission of ceasing to be the citizen of Turkey from Interior Ministry and their infants who prove to have the document giving the rights of 5203 Law Act, 3. those who is born as a foreign national and later acquired the citizenship of Turkey and who are on the position of dual citizenship, 4. who is Turkish citizen and who completed his/her the last three years of high school education in other countries else except for Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, 5. who is the citizen of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and who live in Northern Cyprus and who completed their high school education in there and who have the GCE AL exam results will be accepted, The applications of the candidates 1. who are the citizen of Turkey (except for those who completed the last three years of his/her education in other countries out of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) 2. who are the citizen of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (except for those who completed their complete high school education in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and who have the exam results of GCE AL) 3. who have dual nationality and one of which is Turkish (except for those who completed his/her the last three years of high school education in other countries our of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) 4. who have dual nationality and one of which is Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (except for those who completed his/her complete high school education in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and who have the exam results of GCE AL) 5. who are the citizens of Turkey and who completed their education in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will not be accepted.

2 General Information The explanations for application are announced every year in the web site of the university. Online applications are made online by filling the application form at between 30 April and 06 July Each candidate can apply only five programs (A candidate number will be given upon application and please keep it carefully for next processes. After making online application, application form and the documents mentioned below must be posted to the Registrar s Office at Süleyman Demirel University. The applications after than the deadline are not accepted. Our university is not responsible for the delays resulting from postal procedures. Postal Address: Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Batı Kampüsü Öğrenci İşleri Daire Başkanlığı Isparta/ Türkiye Required Documents For Application Application form signed by candidate Official transcript approved in Turkish by the Offices of Turkish Foreign Missions Graduate Certificate or Document Approved in Turkish by the Offices of Turkish Foreign Missions For the students in their final years: A student certificate showing their situation (approved in Turkish by the Offices of Turkish Foreign Missions) TCS (Turkish Republics with Turks and Related Communities Test) score report (for the applicants who take TCS) The Assessment of The Applications The assessments of the applications are done by Department of Information Technology in SDU between July The scores of the students are ordered from the highest one to the lowest one in each department by Department of Information Technology. The students who do not meet the requirements for application are not assessed. The announcement of The Results The announcement of the results is done on the official website of Süleyman Demirel University. If it is necessary, second or third additional placement quotas can be done. The candidates who apply for the programs that accept students with Special Talent Exam are required to be successful in Special Talent Exam carried out by our university. The candidates can reach the dates of Special Talent Exam on

3 The Announcement of Results and Registration The students who gained the right of registration will be sent an acceptance letter by Rector s Office and those students will be announced on 27 July in 2012 in our website. Those who gained the right of registration can get their acceptance letter with their candidate number and their password on site The registration is done by Registrar s Office of Student Affairs in SDU. The Registration Process The registration process will be done between August in 2012 by Students Registrar Office. The students who will register for the programs must apply themselves individually. The registration will not be done through post-mailing. Those who do not enroll in dates indicated will not claim any rights. For more information about the programs that accept students with Special Talent Exam, please click Note: The Turkish Scholastic Aptitude Test will be done a day after the registration date by Turkish Language, Research and Application Center. The Documents Required for Registration The Real Form of Diploma Equivalency Certificate (This diploma is notified by National Ministry, Provincial Directorate for National and al Consultancy in the Consulates) A Student Visa Taken, Notified and Translated Form of Passport into Turkish (Those who live in Turkey will take the visa from Police Departments and those who live in abroad will get it from Turkish Foreign Missions) The Document that Shows Tuition Waiver (The tuition waiver will be paid into Strategy Directorate of SDU) Twelve (12) colorful head shot taken photos (4,5x6) The Notified Document that shows to have the adequate income to live in Turkey. If have, Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate (The Certificate of TCS and Ankara University TOMER is accepted.) o For the Quotas for the Programs for International Students of , please click. o Except for a tuition waiver, the student who will take ten months of education in Turkey in SDU, it is enough to have nearly 3775$ yearly. Monthly 377,5. o Tuition Waiver is determined by Council of Ministers Decision in each year in June.
