2 STATE YOUR CAREER LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR Dear Colleagues: The Career Center s mission is to assist students with developing, evaluating, and implementing career, education and employment decisions. The center helps students develop effective job search skills and strategies, and seeks to connect students with employers seeking candidates for full-time positions, internships, professional practice experiences, and more. As a centralized campus resource providing comprehensive job search and career development services, the Career Center is pleased to share with you our annual report reflecting on our year s highlights and the incredible impact your support has made to the career development and job readiness of our students. Although we have much to include in this report, here are just a few of our major accomplishments this year: Launching a new Experiential Learning module within Hire-A-Redbird, our online job posting system. Providing enhanced career programming for students to be able to network with, and gain an awareness of career opportunities in varying industries of interest to both students and employers. Establishing a baseline for data collection and for measuring program and service delivery effectiveness. Thank you for your commitment to Illinois State. It is because of you and the amazing students we serve that we are able to proudly proclaim that the Career Center assists students to State Your Career.
