3 3 What offers the Model of e-eye. e-eye offers astronomy fans and professionals alike an across the globe solution which provides all the services they need: very dark and specially prepared locations to enjoy this great hobby, or for studying science and science education. Our observatories are equipped with full security systems to protect equipment from foul weather and power surges. The facilities have perimeter security, 24-hour video surveillance, and weather cameras. Communication with the observatories and telescopes is ideally suited for observatoryrelated tasks, and we're working to further develop our systems in the near future. Our team of highly-trained competent experts are passionate professionals with over twenty years experience in the field of astronomy, with the expertise needed to conduct any task with utmost attention to detail. Our technical team at e-eye was involved in the technical phases of The Teide Observatory (IAC), and has taken part in many scientific expeditions, for example, to Greenland to observe the aurora borealis.

6 6 Climatology and astronomical sky quality at e-eye The location of the e-eye Astrological Complex offers low cloud cover and little rainfall, as well as low ambient humidity. It's an ideal location thanks to a high percentage of clear nights which guarantees a large number of astronomical observations of exceptional quality. Visual limiting magnitude at zenith > 6. The parcel where e-eye is located has a clear horizon in all directions. The Province of Badajoz has a continental-type Mediterranean climate with some influence from the Atlantic due to its proximity to the coast. Winters are relatively cold with minimum temperatures that can reach 0 C. Summers, however, are hot, with maximum temperatures sometimes reaching 40 C. Rainfall is sometimes irregular. The wettest months are November and December. In contrast, the summers are dry with only occasional rainfall, usually the result of stormy weather. The average annual temperature in Fregenal de la Sierra is 15.2 C Its Köppen-Geiger climate classification is Csa.

7 7 Location The location of e-eye was chosen for multiple factors which as a whole make it an excellent place for doing all types astronomy at the highest level. The following are some of the reasons for choosing the location of the facilities: Low level of light pollution Availability of excellent service infrastructure Ease of Access. Altitude above sea level of 560 m No large urban centers near the facilities Environmental protection for future urban pollution, StarLight Healthcare center, in case the need arises Visible and wide horizon in all quadrants Natural wind protection, guaranteeing minimal turbulence. The e-eye Astronomical Complex is centrally-located along the highway connecting Spain and Portugal, an hour and a half from the Seville International Airport, four hours from the Madrid International Airport and three hours from Lisbon. 8 8 Observatories The design chosen for the robotic observatories was the roll-off model. These have been developed and designed to house telescopes that offer the highest robotics performance standards. The design, construction and equipping of the observatories was planned to create a structure that is ideally suited for robotic telescopes, with painstaking attention to the smallest detail. 9 9 The first phase consists of a modular observatory building designed to house six independent telescopes with apertures of up to 20".Each telescope has its own column, automated roof, control systems and services, security and weather cameras (24-hour), and an ample space of 3x3 meters. Successive expansion phases over the next two years were included in e-eye's robotic observatory development plan. For the expansion, e-eye set aside a large parcel perfectly suited to technical and astronomical requirements, which will be able to house at least seven more modules, meaning the whole complex will be able to house over 40 telescopes. Meticulous engineering of the observatories has enabled us to achieve optimal physical parameters for the elimination of hot spots, as well as thermal insulation with excellent thermal inertia to cool the mirrors. Many of the solutions adopted were designed by e-eye, based on our many years of experience building observatories. Allows the sliding roof to be opened and closed. Can be positioned at any point in range. Trapezoidal control motor: soft start and stop. Configurable security mechanisms: Allows conditions for automatic closure of the observatory to be selected. Timer. Allows the time the observatory is to be opened to be set (for example, for ventilation). Closes automatically when time ends. Atmospheric conditions. Cloud/rain detector closes observatory automatically (AAG CloudWatcher or similar). Power outage. Closes automatically in the event of power outage. Loss of communication. Closes automatically in the event of loss of communication with the PC (operating system crashes). Disconnection from internet. Closes automatically when the internet is not accessible for a certain period. All of these observatory closure orders are preceded by an order to park the mount (whenever possible this is based on whether the order was received directly or via the PC).

11 11 Accommodation Houses with an avant-garde design are also offered by e-eye to accommodate visitors who want to stay comfortably with their families and enjoy e-eye's astronomical and tourist activities. The houses are located in a unique natural setting, surrounded by luscious green oaks, and are sufficiently far from the observatories so they will not interfere with astronomical observations.
