Install the product 2.1 Connect USB Phone Connect USB Phone to the USB port of the computer At the first installation and connectionthe system will prompt to find the new hard ware,win2000 or advanced system will install the driver automatically. 2.2 Ensure the connect condition of the hardware If you are not sure about whether the USB Phone hardware was successfully installedyou can inspect the installation state of the hardware through[device manager]. (Take Windows XP as an example) Find [My computer] -> [control panel] -> [system] -> [hardware] -> [device manager] to inspect whether there are two options as follow in the picture: 4

5 2.3 Install Skype software If you have not installed the Skype software, you can download the latest edition of Skype software in this website: After download the softeware, please operate the install operation according to the website: Please perform installation refering to the correct hints which you can download from the wedsite. 2.4 Using the USB Phone Dialer The installation and setup of USB Phone Dialer please refer to 5.1 Executing the USB Phone Dialer.exe If the Skype have been logging in before, after running the USB Phone Dailer, please choose using the Skype software as the picture shows below:press [ok] After running [USB Dialer] you can see the moving estate of USB Phone from the system tray area. Please connect USB Phone: It shows that the USB Phone haven t connected with computer, please gear into the USB Phone now. Please run soft phone: 5

6 It shows that it havn t connected with netowrk or didn t run the software yet, please log in the Skype now. USB Dailer: It shows that the USB Phone is conneting well with the Skype and now you can control the Skype by using the USB Phone. 3.Operation Guide 3.1 Introduction of the menu of the screen Friends menu It shows the list of the Online or Offline friends. Press [Up/Down] to choose friends, if he/she is online it shows Online or shows Offline. After your choice press [Call] to call these friends Missed Calls menu It shows the missing calls list and the time. Press [Up/Down] to choose the missing call and press [Call] to call back Received menu It shows the received call list and the time. Press [Up/Down] to choose the received call and press [Call] to call back. 6

7 3.1.3 Dialed menu It shows the dialed number list and time. Press [Up/Down] to choose the dialed number and press [Call] to call again Volume menu It shows the adjusting the volume of the talk. Press to adjust the volume, the adjusting range would between [0-5], [0] shows no sound. 3.2 Operate software Skype Press button [0-9] When in main menu, the window of software Skype would spring up. You can shift between columns of good friends, dial numbers and call list records with USB Phone key [#]. Dial number in good friend column Press button [#] to shift to Good friends column Press button [Up/Down] to choose Good friends. Press button [Call] for calling. Press button [Call] for calling. 3.3 Dial numbers Press button [Left], choose friends and then add to contact person list when in idle mode. After choosing a contact person, press button [Call].At that time speaker can also give out dialling tone and meanwhile the screen displays connecting. If you want to cancel the calling,press button[cancel]it can be cancelled immediately. After connecting the phone callit will be displayed on the screen to show it is calling.press button [Cancel] if want to cancel the call. Dial common phone numbers This function applies to paying user. USB Phone Dialer using introduction 5.1 Software introduction Install the USB Phone Dialer from the CD attached with the product, the program will be installed to the tolerant path. Start->program-> USB Phone Dialer, open USB Phone Dialer 9

10 After open the program, you can see the mark at the right side below the screen as follow If you want to get the latest edition of USB Phone Dialer please visit the follow website to update: Or chose the option of update after the ringt press the mark of the program, then the program willopen the website automatically. 5.2 Software setting When double-click the mark,there will be a program interface as: [Start when Window starts]chose this option means the program will run automatically after the boot-trap of the computer. [Phone key tone] chose this option will open the button voice of the Phone. [Phone ring style]press the number button in the down-draw list to set the ring tone of the USB Phone. [Volume]Adjust the volume of the phone by drag the slip on the scroll bar. Check the communicate state with Skype software If the software is running and the it communicates normally with USB Dialer,it will show that Skype is running, or it will show that Skype is not running.then need to restart Skype software. 10
