Professors who love to teach Our professors consult for governments and corporations around the world. They publish some of the leading texts in their fields and spearhead groundbreaking research. Above all, our professors teach because that s what they enjoy most. You know from your own experience that it s not enough for teachers to be experts in their fields. They must also be experts at igniting that spark of interest in their students. These are the kinds of professors you ll find here at the University of Hartford caring educators who will take a personal interest in you and your development. Small classes that facilitate interaction At the University of Hartford, we don t believe in having graduate assistants teach undergraduate students. After all, what good is having exceptional professors if students don t have access to them? So our courses are taught by professors who sincerely enjoy working with students. And because we keep classes small, you ll find it easy to get to know these professors in supportive class settings. Your professors will also be available to meet individually with you in one-on-one advising sessions. The amount of facultystudent interaction that takes place at this university is astounding. I have never seen a faculty devote so much time outside the classroom to working with students. It is one of the great pleasures of teaching here. Dr. Lynne Kelly Professor of Communication
