29 VoD Testing Basic Video on Demand (& Throughput) test Client-side there is more than one way to request a VoD stream from the server: 1. {Play Media} in this case, the Duration that the stream plays for is based on the server configuration, ie. 600 seconds (prev slide) Video Delivery 2. PLAY, STOP in this case, the PLAY command sets the duration of play to 30 seconds, after which the STOP command tears down the connection features and functionality.
