2 Division of Rehabilitation Services, (DORS) State of Maryland Public vocational rehabilitation programs like DORS succeed, in part, because of longstanding relationships with private and non-profit community rehabilitation programs located throughout the state. In Maryland, these programs provide a wide variety of services to individuals near their hoes. They include vocational evaluation, vocational training, work adjustment training, specialized services for persons who have blindness or hearing impairments, and job placement. These are valued partnerships. To assist DORS and these programs to service consumers, there is a Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP) advisory board. Each CRP has a DORS liaison for communication and problem resolution. Collaborative training takes place throughout the year.
