4 Adair Hendrix, together with renowned designer, Allan Brownie Brown, created and developed the Z1 based on a waterline interpretation of a classic Ferrari. Adair Hendrix, a specialist in the construction of superyachts, built the Z1 to international standards suitable as a tender for a yacht or a luxury cruise with European styling. 9 ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY CONSTRUCTION A Better Process. A Cleaner World. Every Z1 boat is constructed with you and the environment in mind. Our unique Vacuum Bag Construction is a clean, modern process. The technology is a controlled technique, unlike traditional methods of spraying the resins through the air. With Vacuum Bag Construction, the boat mold is inside a bag under vacuum. The resin goes in one end of the bag and flows to the other end of the bag where it is captured and recycled. 10 EVERY Z1 CONSTRUCTION COMPONENT IS PERFECT... EASY COCKPIT ACCESS Z1 provides easy cockpit access to the isolated battery selector switch, battery lugs, water-tight plug for automatic charging system and breaker reset switch for vessel systems. EXTRA SECURE WINDSHIELD The windshield frame is through-bolted using stainless steel bolts welded to the base plate frame. Large stainless steel washers and locknuts are incorporated to help prevent loosening from the frame. The bolts are sanded smooth and polished to become unnoticeable. The frame is isolated and bedded-down with a structural polyurethane adhesive to ensure water-tight integrity and structural bonding. ULTIMATE FUEL TANK EFFICIENCY Under the fuel tank access hatch are the dual fuel pickups and emergency fuel shut-off valve, as well as access to the fuel tank sending unit that communicates with the fuel gauge. 10

11 FROM CONCEPT TO COMPLETION! WATERTIGHT COMPARTMENTS Watertight covers allow easy access to the rigging tubes which are contained in a structural engine compartment liner. They are unseen and contribute to a clean, uncluttered look. The compartment is built with drains and can be safely hosed down after a day on the water without the concern of potential water damage to the rigging process. STREAMLINED HARDWARE All the hardware such as cleats are flush-mounted and spring-loaded to pop up on demand. To help prevent water intrusion or spring failure they are not screwed to the cap deck. Instead, they are through-bolted by welding stainless steel machine screws to the mounting plate, then sanded smooth and polished to a brilliant shine. In the aft, the watertight, flush mounted, telescopic stern light automatically rises up on demand with the running lights on evening cruises or while night mooring or anchoring. REVOLUTIONARY SEAT MOUNTS The seat pedestal is constructed with s-glass, a composite reinforcement made from the highest quality fiberglass fabric available. A one-inch 6061 grade aluminum plate is integrated and the seat sliders and mounts are drilled and tapped through the plate and fastened with surgical stainless steel bolts. This provides the same quality and benefits of through-bolted construction. CUSTOM TEAK DECKS The teak decks are custom built to the highest quality. The planks are fiberglassed together on the backside to incorporate precision spacing and help provide structural adhesion. They are flush-mounted during installation. After they are cured, SIS 440 butyl rubber is injected between the planks and cured. Then the deck is sanded to an ablative finish to accept a series of oil applications. The entire teak deck is then structurally bonded to the cockpit liner under a vacuum-bagged construction. 11

12 EVERY DETAIL IS DESIGNED TO DELIVER THE BEST RIDE FLOOR MOUNTED ACCELERATOR PEDAL The N-Control Foot Throttle Assembly is the finest foot throttle assembly on the market today and is currently used by some of the most elite boat builders. The throttle is precision engineered and provides a perfect, smooth-as-glass, effortless operation. ACCURATE INSTRUMENTATION Mike Livorsi started Livorsi Marine over 25 years ago in a small abandoned gas station in Chicago. It was a very humble beginning with only one product, a liquid filled speedometer. By perfecting his high quality instrument that prevented pointer bounce, he was able to provide offshore boats and the racing circuit a speedometer that was more accurate and dependable. This new standard in quality enabled him to build strong business relationships with Cigarette, Apache, Aronow, Skater and many others. SUPERB SHIFT TECHNOLOGY The In Control Shifter is a match set for its foot throttle companion component. It is also made of the same highest quality aluminum. The shifter function has three locking positions. First, pull it out toward yourself to disengage its setting, then relocate to center for neutral or all the way back for reverse mode or all the way forward for drive mode. Just to the right of the shifter is a grab handle which is incorporated into the windshield frame. IDEAL ENGINE COMPARTMENT The engine compartment is finished to the same high-gloss perfection as the exterior. A tool box compartment is incorporated on the side for safe and secure storage. On the opposite side, a dual compartment houses twin batteries and a trim pump, allowing space to secure lubricants and filters. The engine sits between these compartments and has plenty of room to service all the requirements from the engine manufacturer. This compartment is also contained, thereby allowing for easy access for tools. 12

DRIVER-FRIENDLY DASHBOARD All instrumentation and accessories are easily accessible and driver-friendly so that all of Z1 systems can be monitored at a glance. TIMELESS CRAFTSMANSHIP The stainless steel windshield frame is custom and hand-made by Z1. It is composed of 9 pieces of 316 L stainless steel and fabricated with grab handles on each end. After over ninety man-hours of welding and grinding, it is taken through its polishing stages, as is all custom hardware built for the boat. Z1 fabricates most of its own hardware, from the concealed engine hatch hinges to the stainless logo, which is welded and incorporated with the hull centerline rub rail.
