7 What s new in this price list Behavioral Health Care: Stanley Patient Safety Lever (Electrified) The state-of-the-art electrified safety lever series boasts the same quality design and security as the other Stanley Patient Safety Lever (SPSL) locksets, and additionally offers Fail Secure (electrically unlocked) and Fail Safe (electrically locked). Also, it gives optional signaling choices for request to exit, door position switch, and latch position switch. There are optional monitoring systems available too. Behavioral Health Care: Stanley Female Patient Privacy Lever The New Female Patient Privacy Function lockets add to the current line of Stanley Patient Safety Levers (SPSL) hardware. This solution was developed to meet the need of providing female patients privacy in their rooms while ensuring their safety. 10 Sales Policies TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE The terms and conditions contained in this catalog shall govern the sale of all products priced herein. Stanley reserves the right to refuse any orders as well as the right to sell or not to sell to any firm at our sole discretion. The acceptance of any order is expressly made conditional upon your assent to these Terms and Conditions of Sale. PRICES: All previous prices are superseded by this List Price. All prices are subject to change without notice. Complete prices for all key operated locks include a combinated core and one (1) operating key. Orders for users outside the continental United States will be by quotation from the International Department to cover any additional import duties, freight, communications, and insurance cost. All orders will be filled at prices in effect at the time of order. All prices are subject to change without notice. List prices do not include taxes, shipping or handling charges. Stanley Patient Safety Lever (SPSL) / Stanley Emergency Door Alarm (SEDA) / Stanley Seclusion Room Lock (SSRL) PRODUCT QUOTES: Normal discount structures do not apply to the published list prices for SPSL, SEDA or SSRL products. Net price quotes for these products must be obtained from the local Stanley Sales Representative. In the case of SEDA, two (2) quotes will be provided: one for product only, and another for product and installation as it is highly recommended a trained Stanley technician installs this product to ensure trouble-free performance. ORDERS: Stanley Security Solutions, Inc ( Stanley ) reserves the right to decline orders in which the price or quantity of goods is not satisfactory. Stanley will not be bound to fill any orders unless or until they have been accepted in writing by an authorized representative of Stanley. Stanley will accept orders via phone, , fax or courier. KEYING SYSTEM ORDERS: All orders of keying systems specifying delayed fulfillment must be fulfilled within twelve (12) months of the order date. Said request for fulfillment must include complete keying instructions for the order to be acknowledged with an estimated delivery date. Failure to properly request fulfillment of the order within twelve (12) months of the order date will make the order void and nonrefundable. SPECIAL ORDERS: Any modification to a standard product configuration is considered a special order. No credits will be issued for returned special orders unless authorized by Customer Service (800) PHONE ORDERS: Accuracy of phone orders will be determined by receipt of a written confirmation or acceptance of our acknowledgment. INCOMPLETE ORDERS: An incomplete order is one that is not fully specified according to the appropriate nomenclature required for that product. Any incomplete order will not be entered and will be referred to the appropriate Stanley Sales Representative for resolution. HARDWARE SCHEDULES: A hardware schedule is a listing of all builders hardware items related to a particular construction job. It is approved by the architect, then submitted to dealers, bidders, and contractors. An acceptable hardware schedule of Stanley products is one in which the material ordered is compatible for installation as required in the schedule. SAMPLES: Please contact your local Stanley Sales Representative for sample requests. SPLIT FINISHES: When ordering locksets with split finish (outside finish different from inside), specify the outside finish first, then the inside finish. Specify the hand of the door so the proper face and strike plate finish may be supplied; otherwise, the finish will be supplied for doors opening inward. CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS: After orders are entered for manufacturing, changes or cancellations cannot be accepted without our permission, and may be subject to a change or cancellation charge equivalent to 30% of the purchased price. MINIMUM CHARGE: The expense of handling an order necessitates a minimum charge of $50.00 net per invoice. TERMS: Thirty (30) days net. Stanley reserves the right to add a service charge to all invoices past due. International sales are accepted with a confirmed irrevocable letter of credit. DELIVERY: We endeavor to make prompt shipment of all orders, but we shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting from delay in filling orders, including any direct or consequential loss or damages, resulting from an inability or delay in meeting shipping schedules. SHIPPING/FREIGHT ALLOWANCES: All shipments are F.O.B. factory via carrier Stanley selects. Goods in transit are at the risk of the buyer. Single or combined shipments including Stanley lock sets, exit devices, and door closers will be considered for free freight with orders at or above $6,000 net (product combination must be on same purchase order). 11 Sales Policies (continued) CONSTRUCTION CORES: All keyed locks shipped from Stanley for new construction projects in which cores have been ordered will receive disposable black plastic (non-keyed) construction cores at no additional charge. Disposable black plastic cores for less-core orders may be purchased separately for $1.50 net. Brass (keyed-alike) construction cores may be purchased for a net price of $7.50 each. No further discount will be applied. Brass construction cores shall be 7-pin, A keyway, and have a GREEN face. Brass construction cores are shipped with one operating key per ten (10) cores and one control key per twenty (20) cores; additional keys may be purchased for $4.40 list. Construction cores do not have the degree of security that the owner s permanent masterkeyed cores provide. Construction cores are used for controlling access to premises during construction and ARE NOT INTENDED FOR USE WHEN PREMISES ARE OCCUPIED OR FURNISHED IN ANY MANNER. When increased security is needed please contact your local Stanley sales office for masterkey services. Return of construction cores: Brass construction cores may be returned for a $2.50 credit per re-usable core to be applied toward the next purchase. A Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) must be obtained and accompany the returned material. Stanley is not responsible for collection or return of construction cores. MASTERKEYING: Complete keying instructions must be given before a masterkeyed order can be properly acknowledged with an estimated delivery date. All codes or combinations required by users shall be generated by Stanley, remains the property of Stanley and are proprietary and confidential. Codes are available only to authorized personnel and are not for sale. To assist in reducing the possibility of duplication within a keying system and ensure security, all extensions should be made or approved by Stanley Masterkey personnel. Duplication or release of Stanley codes to nonauthorized people or organizations including, but not limited to, hardware dealers, wholesalers, private locksmiths, other lock manufacturers, architects, or contractors violates Stanley s ownership rights and is strictly prohibited. MASTERKEY SERVICES: The value-added service of a customized masterkey security solution is included at no additional charge with the purchase of a complete Stanley lock. A masterkey service charge will be assessed, based on quantity, for each incomplete order. An incomplete order includes Stanley cylinders or cores for use in non-stanley manufactured locks for which Stanley has an equivalent product. Stanley key system products shall not be provided without the associated masterkey services. PROTECTIVE HANDLING: Security materials (i.e. service equipment, codes, control, grandmaster, master, and submaster keys) are sent to the customer s designated authorized personnel with return signature requested, even though a third-party may have originated the order. EXPORT REGULATIONS: Purchaser agrees to conform to, and abide by, the export laws and regulations of the United States, including, but not limited to, the Export Administration Act of 1979 as amended and its implementing regulations. Diversion contrary to US laws and regulations is prohibited. CLAIMS: All claims due to errors or defects must be submitted, in writing, within thirty (30) days after receipt of goods. When Stanley is responsible, adjustments will be made. PROPER INSTALLATION: Current installation instructions for any Stanley product should be carefully followed for proper operation of the installed unit. If improperly installed, malfunction of the unit may result. 12 Warranty LIMITED WARRANTY Except as otherwise provided below, STANLEY warrants that all Products manufactured by STANLEY and sold under its trade names BEST and STANLEY are free of defects in materials, workmanship and operation, normal wear and tear excepted, for a period of three (3) years from the date of sale to the original purchaser. The liability of STANLEY under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of any Product covered by the warranty. Software Warranty - STANLEY warrants that all CD ROM and hardware keys shall be free from defects in material and workmanship and will function in substantial accordance to the specifications for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.
