4 Intelligence Redefined Automatic Cutting Effect Regulation (ACE) The Beamer CE200 features Automatic Cutting Effect (ACE) regulation that provides continuous monitoring of sparks around the active electrode and maintains the spark formation required for effective controlled cutting. Active in all Automatic Modes, ACE monitors and automatically adjusts voltage, spark and power. This results in the delivery of consistent, repeatable endoscopic cutting and hemostatic effects and removes the variability often seen in endoscopic applications of electrosurgery. ConMed ABC technology achieves enhanced clinical effectiveness by focusing radio frequency energy in a directional, non-contact, beam of argon gas. All menu settings and machine parameters can be set and changed rapidly with a quick turn of the controller. The current operating state is immediately recognizable by the backlight, a status-indicating system specially developed on the Beamer System. Customize your programs The system memory offers 99 storage positions for user-defined programs in addition to the preset standard program. These settings can be stored under specific indications, locations or your name the choice is yours. The Last Used Programs can be instantly accessed from the system s quick pick list. Choose your setting Automatic Mode Pictograms permit users to rapidly select outputs by the desired clinical application or effect. Beamer offers 5 preset automatic pictograms, each program designed to deliver optimal clinical results. All modes can be customized to meet the needs of the expert user as required. 8 Modularity The Beamer System is modular in design. You can upgrade your Beamer ESU with a Beamer Plus ABC or Beamer Irrigation Pump at any time. The Beamer software can be upgraded as required, through the serial port connection, via a standard MS compatible computer. This feature helps keep your Beamer System updated without the need to return the device. Double Foot-Pedal Unit with Integrated Swap-Mode Button The Swap-Mode button located between the pedals allows users to switch between two linked programs by foot without the need to touch the generator. Beamer Pump On Demand Irrigation Beamer Irrigation Pump is used for on-demand endoscopic irrigation for improved visibility and permits the washing away of any blood/ particles or debris.
