1 Discover ACE Online Advanced Degrees for Educators
2 The More You Learn, the More Your Students Learn Are you interested in taking the next step in your career? Whether you want to earn your master s degree or want to upgrade your skills, learning online with fellow teachers is one of the best ways you can improve your skills. Remember Why You Started Do you remember the feeling of excitement when your student had his first Aha moment and you could see it on his face? As a college founded by educators, for educators, we know that this is what you want to achieve on a regular basis. By improving your craft, collaborating with other educators, and putting your work into practice, you will learn how to help your students engage. Their enthusiasm will make you remember why you began your career in education. Quality Programs for Educators, by Educators To get the most benefit for your time and money, it pays to think about both the quality and the total cost of your online program. Will the program actually provide the training and professional skills that you need? Here are a few questions to ask yourself. ACE SCHOOL B SCHOOL C How much time does this program require? hours per week Do I have to spend time commuting to class or sitting through long lectures? Does the program require me to put what I have learned into practice? No you can build your studies around your schedule Yes! Programs require assignments you can use in your classroom Can I afford this program? Are the courses relevant to my career goals? Is the program accredited? M.Ed. programs are under $8,000 Programs require action research projects and assignments that you apply to your classroom and school ACE is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Several M.Ed. programs are accredited by TEAC.

4 Since I began the program, I have addressed several concepts from my multicultural education course with my principal. My principal has added a leadership strand to my professional development for the year, and I am attending a leadership conference in March. CARLA PESCE, M.ED. My ACE program was really standardized. I knew every single week I was going to have a quiz, a few discussions posts, and to write a paper. It was never a source of stress. Consistency was huge. DAVE STUART, M.ED. I learned about using data and about making sense of state report cards. After fi fteen years of teaching, I know that initiatives and reforms change almost every year, but I feel much more confident overall about being able to use data to understand what is happening at my school. CHANDRA JUHASZ, M.ED. Online Collaboration, Real Life Application Students at American College of Eduation learn that they can expect to use what they learn on a day-to-day basis. Through jobembedded programs and online discussions, take what you learn online and apply it to your school and classroom. Certificate Programs Hands down, one of the best ways to improve your teaching skills is to be a lifelong learner. If you have already earned your master s degree, or you just want to explore options before committing to a full master s degree, completing a single course or a certifi cate program is a great way to boost your skills and gain graduate-level credits. If your journey takes you outside the classroom to leadership positions or other related positions within the field, our programs prepare you for those as well. Certificate in Community Leadership Explore grant writing and ethical leadership through this series of doctoral level courses. Certificate in Digital Learning and Teaching Build your tech skills and learn how to use technology most effectively in the K-12 classroom. Certificate in English as a Second Language Prepare to teach English language learners! Program provides the knowledge and skills to demonstrate the English as a New Language Standards established by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.
5 Watch Your Skills Grow Students and employers agree: American College of Education s online programs improve professional skills. With the model I have implemented as lead teacher at my school, we are able to accomplish many of the same things as a traditional PLC but with greater efficiency. PHILIP CHURCH, M.ED. The program was very eye-opening for me! After taking a few courses in educational leadership, I began to ask more questions at my school. PATRICIA PERAL, M.ED. Satisfaction Measures 87% 95% 93% 88% Employers rank ACE graduates above average or excellent. My profesional skills are stronger because of ACE. I am satisfied with my experience at ACE thus far.
