In a very short time, you will begin to notice that you feel lighter, more confident in yourself, and more confident in your relationship with God. You will begin to sincerely know in faith the promises our Father has made to His children, and you will know that He is always with you. You will begin to feel that you honestly deserve to be loved by your Heavenly Father and will more easily love others with whom you come in contact. I encourage you to keep up with the program. Even if you stop for a day or two, begin the program again. There is no reason to only practice the program for 40 days. When you repeat the program, you ll find that it deepens the effects each time. I recommend that you practice the program in the morning immediately, or soon after, you wake up. And again shortly before you retire for the night. They are relaxing and will help you sleep, yet will not put you in a fog in the morning, but actually invigorate you. Copy the affirmations and print them out so that you can read them periodically throughout the day. You can memorize them and repeat any of them at random. They are Biblically supported so you can be confident that the messages are truly divinely inspired. 5 40-Day Christian Empowerment Affirmations: Introduction ~ According to ancient mystical teachings, it takes a consistent, daily practice of 40 days for one to change his or her consciousness and realize a new truth that deeply affects his or her life. A break in the 40 days, unfortunately, releases the build-up of energy around the new ideas. Therefore, it requires a faithful commitment to follow the plan. If you miss only one day, just reaffirm your commitment and start over until you follow the plan for 40 consecutive days. This plan may be repeated as many times as you feel necessary to fully grow into and experience the empowering love of Jesus Christ, and also develop an awareness of Holy Spirit with you at all times. It actually should be a life-long commitment, and I suggest that you commit to redoing the 40-day program at least once every year. 1

6 Fundamental Tenets of Empowerment through Christian Affirmations ~ Before beginning the 40-Day Christian Empowerment Affirmations program, you should be familiar with the seven basic tenets that are the foundation of the affirmations. Read these tenets carefully and think about each one deeply. It s important that you understand them, even if some of them are new or different from what you have been led to believe. Each one of these tenets is fully supported in biblical teachings, so you can feel comfortable in learning to accept them and making them an integral part of your faith. 1. God created me in His image and likeness. Therefore, I am innately divine and good. 2. I accept responsibility for my thoughts, actions and reactions to all situations that happen in my life. What I believe about my life determines what I experience in the world. It is done unto me as I believe. 3. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. 4. The Holy Spirit walks with me continuously, protects me, inspires me, and empowers me with the love of God. 5. The greater my awareness of the Holy Spirit within me, the more I will experience His presence and guidance in my life. 6. Spiritual consciousness is my knowledge and awareness of God as the Source of all that is Good in my life. 7. It is God s greatest pleasure to give me the Kingdom. I only have to open myself to His Love and allow his blessings to pour into my life. I do this by letting go of my feelings of unworthiness, for that is not what God wants me to believe. 2

7 How to follow the 40-Day Christian Empowerment Program ~ Pick a day to start, maybe the beginning of the next week, and mark out 40 days on a calendar so you know when your last day of this practice will be. You may want to have some meditation music on while you practice the program. Write the Meditation below on the first day of the program and gently contemplate its message for a few minutes. Then: Write the affirmation for that day. Contemplate the affirmation for 10 to 15 minutes. Write your thoughts for that day in your journal or diary. Read the affirmation several times throughout the day. If you miss a day doing the program, start over the following day from Day 1. Don t worry about it; you may have to start on Day 1 more than once before you get through the whole program. Know that you are growing your Christian consciousness and becoming empowered through the Love of Christ every day. On the first day, write this passage in your notebook: Meditation: Today, I awaken to the Truth of who I am. I am a divine child of my Heavenly Father, and as my faith continues to increase, I experience greater and greater divine blessings in my life. Infinite Forgiveness and Divine Love are immediately available to me at all times, everywhere I am. By accepting Jesus Christ as my Savior, my sins are washed away forever, as if they never happened. My Heavenly Father is a God of Love and He loves me unconditionally, and knowing this allows me to also love myself and to genuinely love others. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and so I reclaim the power that I have lost because of my unfounded fears and needless feelings of unworthiness. I remember that I am a true spiritual being in the Body of Christ. 3

8 Because I know that God loves me, I choose to live joyfully, passionately and compassionately. As I walk in the Light of the Holy Spirit, I rise above poverty, sickness, pain and suffering, and I live in the awareness of Beauty, Peace and Love. From this day forward I acknowledge the Holy Living Christ as my Savior, my Rock, and my Redeemer. Passages for the 40 Day Empowerment Affirmations Day 1 Affirmation: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. By the power of my Savior, Jesus Christ, I am strong, powerful, resourceful, and creative. Day 2 Affirmation: I know that God s love flows to me in response to my receptivity to It. By opening myself to receive His unconditional love, my life overflows with abundance, love, joy and peace, and I continually receive inspiration and guidance from Holy Spirit. Day 3 Affirmation: Holy Spirit frees me from my self-created fears and lack of self-worth. Because I am made in the image and likeness of my Father in Heaven, I live and act from a place of power, safety, wholeness and divine potential. Day 4 Affirmation: My life and everything in it is a blessing from God, and I give thanks and praise to Him for all the possibilities before me to grow and express the fullness of myself as His divine child. Day 5 Affirmation: God is Love, I am loved. God is Joy, I am joyful. God is Peace, I am peaceful. God is Power, I am empowered. God is All, I am whole. I live and move and have my being in the Love and Light of my Holy Savior. Day 6 Affirmation: I simplify my life by letting go of negativity. I know that Jesus Christ s presence in my life creates everything good. No matter what the outer circumstances look like today, my Savior holds me in His protective, loving arms. Day 7 Affirmation: I no longer allow limiting beliefs to keep me from experiencing God s love. I no longer let my opinions of myself, based on my fear or past mistakes, keep me from living and expressing all the potential that is within me, through my Savior, Jesus Christ. Day 8 Affirmation: 4

9 I honor myself and all of humanity as a divine creation of the Father. God loves me and all His children. I and my brothers and sisters are One in Christ. Day 9 Affirmation: I allow myself to believe that I have already received that for which I pray, for I know that God s greatest pleasure is giving me His kingdom. I only have to open myself and believe it, to receive it. Day 10 Affirmation: The Holy Spirit fills me with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. I walk in the Spirit and am filled with the Spirit. The Holy Spirit empowers me with the love of God in all that I do. (For Day 11 and forward, begin again with Day 1) 5
