1 Gift Tag Ornament Scotch Self-Sealing Laminating Pouches for Bag Tags were used to create the Gift Tag Ornament Design. They can dress up a plain gift and also be used as an ornament after the gift is opened. They are easy to create which makes them a fun project to do with kids. Materials for the HO HO HO Gift Tag Ornament 1

2 HO HO HO Gift Tag Ornament This design uses materials similar to the HO HO HO gift set. To make this design double-sided, place two pictures backto-back in the laminating pouch and follow the instructions for the gift tag ornament on both sides of the laminated picture. For a one-sided gift tag, write what you wish on the back of the photo before it is laminated. Difficulty Easy Materials 1/8-inch silver wired ribbon (thin wired ribbon makes it easy to attach to a gift or a tree) 1/2-inch wide red grosgrain (ribbed) ribbon 1 medium sized silver bell 4 medium sized red rhinestones 8 medium sized clear rhinestones Scotch Precision Scissors (7 for cutting ribbon) Scotch Self-Sealing Laminating Pouches for Bag Tags Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue (for gluing ribbon and rhinestones) Instructions 1. Seal a photo inside a Scotch Self-Sealing Laminating Pouch for Bag Tags by following the instructions on the package. 2. Cut two pieces of the red ribbon the length of the side edges of the laminated photo measuring just below the hole on the top edge and two pieces the width of the top and bottom edges of the photo. 3. Using Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue, apply small amounts of glue to the back of the ribbons and attach them to the photo. Glue the ribbon to the side edges of the photo first followed by the top and bottom edges. On the top edge, glue the ribbon just below the hole. Small amounts of glue can be added to the ends of the ribbon to prevent fraying. 2

3 4. Cut a piece of the silver wired ribbon about 10 inches long or the desire length to use as a gift tag or ornament. 5. Feed the silver wired ribbon through the hole of the silver bell and move the bell to the center of the ribbon. Fold the ribbon in half so the ends meet. 6. Feed both ends through the hole on the back of the photo and bring the loop with the attached bell over the top of the tag to the front. Feed the ends though the ribbon loop to secure the ribbon. 3

4 7. Using Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue, attach one medium sized red rhinestone on each corner of the red ribbon and one clear rhinestone on each side of the red rhinestone. 4

5 Materials for the Winter Wonderland Gift Tag Ornament Winter Wonderland Gift Tag Ornament This design uses materials similar to the Winter Wonderland gift set. To make this design double-sided, place two pictures back-to-back in the laminating pouch and follow the instructions for the gift tag ornament on both sides of the laminated picture. Cut two pieces of the light blue ribbon the width of the top and bottom edge of the photo. 8. Apply a small amount of glue to the bottom center of the white ribbon and attach the string of one of the snowflake ornaments. Let dry. The string can be made shorter by tying a knot to the desired length and trimming the excess. 9. Using Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue, apply small amounts of glue to the back of the light blue ribbon. Attach the light blue ribbon to the top and bottom edges of the photo, centering it on the white ribbon and covering the snowflake ornament string on the bottom edge of the photo. Small amounts of glue can be added to the ends of the ribbon to prevent fraying. 7

Using Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue, attach one medium sized clear rhinestone to the center of the light blue ribbon on the top edge of the photo and one teardrop shaped blue rhinestone on each side of the clear rhinestone. 11. Glue one medium sized rhinestone centered on each side of the white ribbon and one small clear rhinestone on each side of the medium clear rhinestone. 12. Glue the snowflake with the string removed on the center of the bottom edge of the photo. 8

Using Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue, apply small amounts of glue to the back of the green ribbon and attach it to the side edges of the photo. Small amounts of glue can be added to the ends of the ribbon to prevent fraying. 11

12 10. Using Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue, glue the green rhinestones onto the center of the each bead on top of the hole. 11. Apply a small amount of Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue to the back of each bead and attach them on each side of the photo onto the green ribbon. The configuration should be one on each corner and one centered on each side of the green ribbon. 12
