Introduce yourself and explain that you are here to reset either the large SolarMax carpet end cap or the smaller power end with new signage for the new PetProtect carpet launch There are three people that you should try and make contact with during your visit. - Department Manager - Flooring Sales Specialist - Store Assistant Store Manager Proceed to the receiving department to locate the new Stainmaster carpet PetProtect POP materials shipped in 2 boxes by Marketing Alliance Group as shown in photos to right Using the install guide included with this packet as a guide, replace all existing SolarMax Graphics with the new signage shipped in for this project. 3 SIGNAGE SHIPMENT Stores with the large end cap will receive (1) flat box and 1 large tube containg all of the signage for this project of signage as shown here Each box will have a red label identifying it as signage for this project Stores that have the Power End Cap will only receive (1) flat box as shown here If you did not receive the correct signage kit for the store that you are in, then no work can be completed during this visit. 5 PetProtect End cap Signage Installation Lowe's Lowe s / SolarMax carpet End Cap Reset Entering the Store: Go back to the carpet department and find a department associate. Introduce yourself and explain that you are here to o Support the new PetProtect carpet launch and will be resetting either the larger SolarMax carpet endcap or the smaller power end with a new carpet product offering. There are three people that you should try and make contact with during your visit. o Department Manager o Flooring Sales Specialist o Store Assistant Store Manager Proceed to the receiving department to locate the new Stainmaster carpet PetProtect POP materials shipped by Marketing Alliance Group as shown in photos below. Locate the packaging list for each box and inventory its contents. o Order Missing Materials: Missing materials must be recorded on the Sign Off Sheet included with this packet Getting Started: Identify the stores current SolarMax endacp set up for reset. The new PetProtect carpet POP shipped to each location is specific to a specified arrangement (POG selection). Stores will either have the large SolarMax end cap (photo 1) or the smaller power end (photo 2) located on the main drive aisle. Please follow the appropriate instructions based in the display size. photo 1 Large Endcap photo 2 Power End

6 SolarMax Large End cap Display Reset Instructions The SolarMax carpet large endcap varies based on dedicated endcap space the store has available. Solarmax With No Base End Cap Free Standing Solarmax With Base End Cap 73" Wide Stainmaster Solarmax Display Determine what endcap is installed in your current locations and be aware there may be some cutting of the new sign for a proper fit. Determine the size of the upper signs by: Measure the width of the upper frame Remove the current upper graphic (shown above) and line up the score marks on the new PetProtect graphic to ensure you sized correctly before you cut. Use the old graphic to ensure that you are cutting new sign to correct size It is vital that all displays are measured from inside of left upright to the inside of right upright. Only 97" wide end caps signage won't have to be cut, all other size end caps have to be cut. Cut lines for all sizes are on each side of the signage and must be cut from both the right and left sides so the signage is centered. Once the end cap is measured, place the measure tape onto the signage cut lines from the left to the right to make sure you have the correct size cut lines on each side. Once measurement is confirmed, place straight edge onto signage and score with knife. Bend the cut carefully to remove cut end. Repeat on the other end.

7 Install the new upper graphic (Shown Below). Install by drilling in the supplied 8 screws, three along the top and bottom and one in the middle on the sides (Shown Below) Limited Lifetime Warranty Header Installation The end cap upper warranty header has cut lines on each side. The signage comes 97" and has cut lines of 90", 84" and 73". The 97" endcaps won't have to be cut. PetProtect header is used if display does not have a base as shown here The height of the limited warranty header (blue sign) may also need to be trimmed down from 17 inches to 13.5 inches dependign on your endcap configuaration. Notice the variation in the two endcap images. You should always install the blue sign Again, use the original blue sign to ensure you are cutting to the appropriate size depending on your endcap configuration. Measure the height and the width of the upper frame, cut (score) the appropriate size on each end of signage and carefully bend off. No PetProtect header used if display sits on a base as shown above

8 Always use a straight edge when making cuts (there are flat pieces of steel available in Hardware) Always cut on the outside of straight edge as shown to right o If your knife slips and cuts away from the line, then it will cut into the part that is being discarded IMPORTANT!! Ensure that all measurements are accurate prior to making cuts Apollo will be responsible for replacing all signage that is improperly cut PetProtect Header This sign may not be installed in all large end caps depending on end cap configuration (see above image as a reference) SAMPLE PHOTO s ABOVE Locate the screw allowing the top channel to be removed, which will allow you to remove the old sign and install the new PetProtect header sign. Sign should slide out from the right side of frame. Once the topper signage is in the frame holder, replace the frame ends onto each side of frame to complete the install. IMPORTANT NOTE The Pet Protect Header (shown above) cannot be installed in end caps that have base in the bottom as shown here. a

9 PetProtect Center Graphic Install #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 Measure the center frame channel from left to right (picture #1). Center signage has cut lines on both the top and bottom. The 97" end cap size won't have to be cut (picture #2). Center signage bottom cut lines might be hard to see, measure to get the correct size on both the right & left side of the signage (picture #3). Again use the original sign to help determine where to cut the new sign. Remember, you always have to cut on the left and right side of the sign to ensure the image stays centered. Once the size is determined, cut (score) the right & left sides to size (picture #4). Carefully bend the score line to detach. Place the center signage into the center channel frame (picture #5).

10 Product Construction & Room Scene Channel Card Install Remove the old construction description channel cards from the left side position and replace with the new construction channel cards in the assigned position from left to right. 12 Labels and Sticker Installation Install stickers to corresponding area as illustrated below NEW LABELS ARE PRODUCT SPECIFIC Large Endcap Carpet Sample Feeler Back Label. Install new product description sticker completely covering the old label SPECIAL NOTE: MATCH THE PRODUCT NAME FOUND ON THE NEW LABEL WITH THE CORRESPONDING PRODUCT. Large Endcap Color Selection Take Home Carpet Sample (Front) Install three PetProtect stickers to cover the SolarMax carpet messaging. Large Endcap Color Selection Take Home Carpet Sample (Back) Install one PetProtect sticker to cover the SolarMax carpet messaging.

13 Select Bonded Foam Cushion Item # Premium Microblend Foam Cushion Item # Premium 21 lbs. Density Rubber Cushion Item # Only 3 stickers per location have been shipped. Attach the sticker on the top right corner of each sample. Find the STAINMASTER cushion chain sets and attach 1 PetProtect cushion sticker per cushion product offerings. Attach 1 sticker per cushion product. Try and attach all stickers to the same chain set Remove STAINMASTER SolarMAx Feeler Samples Remove all STAINMASTER SolarMax feeler samples from the end cap and throw them away. You should discard 12 feeler samples. Throw away all feeler samples that are stored in the base of the large end cap and the smaller power end. Remove SolarMax carpet brochures: Remove and dispose of all SolarMax carpet brochures from all brochure holders throughout the department. Additional SolarMax carpet brochures maybe stored in the department cabinets. Please locate and dispose of.

14 STAINMASTER SolarMax Power End Reset OLD SolarMax Carpet Power End Unscrew 2 metal knobs centered in the header sign. Remove the old STAINMASTER carpet topper and replace with the new header sign shown to the right Pull the old color fade resistance sign from the bottom channel and replace with sign shown to the right New PetProtect Carpet Power End Install plastic call out signage on the top left carpet sample as shown in the illustration above. NEW LABELS ARE PRODUCT SPECIFIC Power End Carpet Sample Feeler Back Label. Install new product description sticker completely covering the old label SPECIAL NOTE: MATCH THE PRODUCT NAME FOUND ON THE NEW LABEL WITH THE CORRESPONDING PRODUCT.

16 Print and Attach New SOS Price Labels: Print and attach new price labels to all products. Price labels are product specific and can be found using the products individual s SOS item numbers. All product price labels are to be printed at store level. The SOS price cards are in PDF and can be found at Lowesnet > home page> at the TOP OF THE PAGE are departments> Click Flooring> Resources (+) > Opens Links Store Generated SOS CARPET. The price labels are displayed underneath the sample as shown above.

17 Channel Card Reset Locate the SolarMax Nitro carpet stock channel card in the back of the department by the stock carpet offerings This card is mounted at the back of store on the large carpet carrousel Slide the old SolarMax Nitro carpet stock channel card from its holder and replace with the new PetProtect Nitro carpet channel card Print and attach a new price label Training Materials and Video Hand off carpet has provided Lowe s Flooring Specialist training materials explaining the benefits and features of the new and exciting carpet product offering. o Please locate and deliver the PetProtect carpet training sell sheet to the Lowe s Flooring Specialist that has been enclosed in the shipped materials. o Using the Lowe s computer terminal in the flooring department please show the PetProtect carpet training video using the URL provided.

18 Banner Reset Old Banner New Banner During the week of September 16th, 2013 Marketing Alliance Group shipped out a Stainmaster banner/brochure package that was incorrectly addressed to the PSA Manager and should have been directed to the Flooring Department Manager instead. If this banner reset project has not been completed at your current location than we are requesting your assistance please. Please locate the package in the PSA bullpen (see below for box photos) and execute as per the original instructions listed below. Enclosed you will find a new overhead banner to replace your current banner. Please hang this banner soon, as it helps promote a best in class warranty program from carpet. Also enclosed is a new pack of warranty brochures to insert in the brochure holder within the display. Please be sure to discard all old brochures through your recycling methods.
