If you are new to the process, read the guides and FAQ s on the site. Ask us if you have a question. Complete the summary sheet by the due date Contractors don t forget to watch for RFQ s for on-call lists. Some have missed opportunities because they were in the habit of only looking for bids.

30 NOTABLE UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES CONVENTION CENTER PLAN B Expect to release Task Order Solicitation on June 2, 2014 Will solicit from new Architectural On-Call list On-Call contracts may not yet be executed 20 firms passed initial selection A few are uncertain in passing contract compliance Two step process First round will select about 3 firms based on team qualifications and vision Second round will be a design competition with approx. stipend of $200K per team for conceptual submissions On-call Architect can propose a different prime for the ultimate design contract should they choose (would remain as part of the team) The final design contract would be negotiated as a new standard contract with the proposed prime and the rest of the team as subconsultants (including on-call prime if different)

Plant and connects to the existing North Outfall Sewer (NOS) near Baywood Street Design is nearly complete

The project will construct approximately 3.03 miles of 8 foot diameter sewer in tunnel and associated structures. The sewer will be constructed from the Division St. Shaft site, near the intersection of San Fernando Rd and Cazador St and terminate at the northern overflow parking lot for the Pony & Train Rides in Griffith Park, just north of the I-5 Griffith Park On & Off Ramps (I-5 Shaft Site) east of Crystal Springs Drive. In addition, this project will also construct apporximately 0.76 miles of 7 foot diameter sewer in tunnel and associated structures. This 7 foot diameter sewer has been called the NOS Extension. the sewer traverses from the I-5 shaft site to the Recreation & Parks Central Yard, which is south of LA Glendale Water Reclaimination plant (LAGWRP) and connects to the existing North Outfall Sewer (NOS) near Baywood Street..
