2 Welcome How to Use This Workbook Welcome to Memorize Scripture On the Go! We are happy to share this journey with you as you grow closer to the Lord by memorizing his Word. You are about to hide ten scriptures in your heart which will be with you always. Let s get started! The goal of Memorize Scripture On the Go! is to utilize all of your senses in order to ingrain the Word of God deep into your heart and memory. The audio program will allow you to hear and speak the verses repeatedly as you learn them. This workbook will reinforce that teaching by including the visual and kinesthetic learning styles to your scripture memorization practice. Several exercises are included which will help you practice the scriptures in various ways. Please use the workbook in the way that works best for you some find it is better to do the written exercises before using the audio program, while others prefer to do them in tandem. God created each of us uniquely so we have created this program to be as flexible as possible. Flash Cards Before You Begin, Pray Salvation Scriptures Included with this workbook is set of flashcards to aid your practice. If you have the digital version of this workbook, simply print the cards on pre-cut business card stock or your own paper that you cut into handy flash cards. Get your friends and family involved in quizzing your new knowledge. Have fun while learning God s Word! Each time you begin a lesson, take a moment to pray before you begin. Ask God to honor your decision to learn His Word by helping you internalize the scripture you are studying. In John 3:3, the Bible tells us that, Jesus answered and said to him, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. These words from our savior tell us the importance of the salvation message. There is literally no other decision more important than the decision to accept Jesus as Lord of your life. If you are a believer, these verses will help you fulfill the great commission from Matthew 28:16-20, to go and make disciples of all the nations. If you have not yet made the decision to follow Jesus, these verses will help you to hear the salvation message of the Bible. By understanding and accepting the truths of these scriptures, you will be given eternal life with Jesus. 1

To help with the learning process, please copy each verse by hand on the space provided beside each verse. Use extra paper to repeat this exercise as needed. The more times you write the verses by hand, the greater impact it will have in helping you to fully memorize the scripture. Be sure to include the book, chapter, and verse reference when writing them out. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Now that you have spent the time studying the Word of God on the subject of salvation, perhaps you have been moved in your heart to ask the Lord to save you, or perhaps you know of someone in need of this incredible free gift. In the Bible says that if we believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ is Lord and confess with our mouth that God has raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. If you would like to accept Jesus right now simply repeat this prayer silently to the Lord: Father, please forgive my sins. I believe that Your Son Jesus died for my sins and I accept Him as my savior right now. May God richly bless you as you continue to study His Word. 8
