6 sorrowful MYsterIes AgonY In the garden Jesus suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane, the night before He died. scourging At the PIllAr Jesus was laughed at, scourged and suffered for us.

7 crowning with thorns They put a crown of thorns on Jesus head, which pierced and hurt Him. carrying of the cross Jesus fell three times, carrying His heavy cross to Calvary. crucifixion Jesus suffered and died on the cross. He gave His life for us.

8 glorious MYsterIes resurrection of our lord Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to His people. AscensIon Into heaven Jesus went to Heaven while his Apostles looked on.

9 Descent of the holy spirit The Holy Spirit came to His Apostles and filled them with joy and hope. AssuMPtIon of our lady Into heaven Our Lady was carried up to Heaven from where we are always in Her care. coronation of our lady Queen of heaven Our Lady is crowned Queen of Heaven and will go to Jesus for us.

Say ten Hail Marys while thinking of the Mystery. Say the Glory be. (Optional - After each decade, say the Fatima Prayer). Name the 2nd Mystery and your intention, then say the Our Father. Repeat 5, 6 and 7. Say the Hail Holy Queen, when the 5 decades are completed.
