3 ; St Anne s Oratory September, 2016 Fatima Pilgrimage Sign up The Australian district is planning a pilgrimage to Fatima next August 2017, to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima. This Pilgrimage will join a vast contingent of Traditional Catholics from the SSPX around the world. Please let one of the Priests know so they can add your name to the sign-up sheet. True Devotion to Mary The more we honor the Blessed Virgin, the more we honor Jesus Christ, because we honor Mary only that we may the more perfectly honor Jesus, since we go to her only as the way by which we are to find the end we are seeking, which is Jesus. St. Louis De Montfort Total Consecration to Mary ceremony will be held Friday 7 th October (Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary) for all parishioners wishing to consecrate themselves to Our Lady in accordance to the teachings and manner of St Louis De Montfort. The 3 weeks preparation leading up to the day of consecration starts on Sunday 4 th September and ends on the day of consecration. Preparation sheets with necessary prayers and readings are attached to this (True Devotion to Mary books have been ordered for those who requested same). 3

5 ; St Anne s Oratory September, 2016 First Fridays and Saturdays First Friday Promises (commonly called the 12 promises of the Sacred Heart of Jesus ) 1. I will give them all of the graces necessary for their state of life. 2. I will establish peace in their houses. 3. I will comfort them in all their afflictions. 4. I will be their strength during life and above all during death. 5. I will bestow a large blessing upon all their undertakings. 6. Sinners shall find in My Heart the source and the infinite ocean of mercy. 7. Tepid souls shall grow fervent. 8. Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high perfection. 9. I will bless every place where a picture of my heart shall be set up and honored. 10. I will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts. 11. Those who shall promote this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart, never to be blotted out. 12. I promise you in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My all-powerful love will grant to all those who communicate on the First Friday in nine consecutive months the grace of final penitence; they shall not die in My disgrace nor without receiving their sacraments; My Divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment. To obtain these promises, you simply need to attend Mass and receive Communion for nine consecutive first Fridays (of each month). First Saturday Devotions At Fatima Our Lady s requested The Five First Saturdays Devotion. She asks us to do the following with the intention of making reparation to Her Immaculate Heart on the first Saturdays of five consecutive months: 1. Go to Confession; 2. Receive Holy Communion; 3. Recite five decades of the Rosary 4. Comply with Her when She said: keep Me company, by spending 15 minutes meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary (this is an additional 15 minutes meditation after having recited the Rosary) Link to a short but full explanation of the First Five Saturday Devotion via the Fatima Centre link below. 5
