2 TOGETHER IS A 12 WEEK JOURNEY AT OAKLAND CHURCH TOWARDS A DEEPER RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS AND OTHERS. We believe that we are not only Better Together but we are actually Biblical Together. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Ephesians 4:16 So we cared for you. TAKING THE JOURNEY WITH 2 PEOPLE 2. PRAY DAILY FOR MY 2 3. COMMUNICATE WITH MY 2 REGULARLY & MEET WEEKLY 4. READ MY BIBLE DAILY

3 1 Commit to take the 12 week journey TOGETHER with 2 people WHO ARE MY 2? 1 Person following Jesus at Oakland Church and 1 Person not following Jesus. 2 Commit to praying for my 2 daily Pray for your 2 by name Ask for personal prayer request weekly Pray that God would reveal His perfect love to them and lead them towards Jesus 3 Commit to communicate with my 2 regularly and meet once a week 5 ELEMENTS OF THE TOGETHER JOURNEY Proximity they must be close enough to meet weekly Consistency meeting every week develops deeper relationship Transparency being honest about your journey Vulnerability allow them to speak into your journey Intimacy loving them like Christ has loved us

They broke bread in their homes and ate TOGETHER with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. ACTS 1:14 14 They all joined TOGETHER constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers. ACTS 2:1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all TOGETHER in one place. 1 CORINTHIANS 12:24-25 But God has put the body TOGETHER, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.

7 EPHESIANS 2: Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined TOGETHER and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built TOGETHER to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. PHILIPPIANS 3:17 Join TOGETHER in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. HEBREWS 10: And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting TOGETHER, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching. COLOSSIANS 3: Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all TOGETHER in perfect unity. 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. JOHN 13: A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. ROMANS 12:10 10 Be devoted to one another in love. ROMANS 15:4 I myself am convinced, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with knowledge and competent to instruct one another. 2 CORINTHIANS 13:4 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. HEBREWS 3: But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin s deceitfulness. 14 We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.
