While the Galaxy S II has no dedicated Quick Search key, users can launch the search function by long-pressing the Menu key. Share Apps If a customer has an app they think a friend would love, it s easy to share. Go to Applications > Menu > Share App. Choose to send the app via Bluetooth, Gmail, Messaging, and more. Video Maker Use Video Maker to edit video recorded on Galaxy S II. To access Video Maker go to Applications > Video Maker. Drop video files to make a movie, then edit the cuts or the duration of the film. Live Weather Wallpaper Live weather wallpapers tell users what the weather is like in an attractive, colourful way. Users have the choice of either a beach or windmill landscape, both of which are animated, and change to reflect the current weather: rain, clouds, sun, and even night. To adjust the phone s wallpaper, long press on the Home Screen, from the options, choose Wallpaper > Live Wallpaper. Motion Control Settings Turn on Motion Control and show your customer how to use it to perform simple tasks on their Galaxy S II. To turn on Motion Control, go to Applications > Settings > Motion, then check the box beside Motion Activation. Once Motion Control is activated your customer will be able to: Turn over the device to mute sounds. Tilt the device to zoom in and out of pictures and web pages. Move widgets and icons around the home screens by panning the device. Double tap the device to give voice commands in Voice Talk.

5 TOP DEMOS Turn off Automatic Screen Brightness To adjust the Galaxy S II s Super AMOLED Plus screen brightness, go to Application > Settings > Display > Brightness. Here users will have the option to turn off automatic brightness. Activate Samsung Dive In the event that your customer misplaces his or her Galaxy S II, Samsung Dive can geo-locate the device or perform a remote lock or wipe. Tell your customer to visit to register. Voice Talk at the Ready Double press the Home button to activate Voice Talk. Or, go into Applications and tap the Voice Talk icon. When a green light appears in the Voice Talk app, the program is ready to receive a command. Just press the Tap and Speak button, or say Hi Galaxy. Use Voice talk to make calls, send text messages, navigate while driving, play songs, or dictate a memo. Voice Talk s driving mode will even read off messages to the user while driving. Remind customers that leaving Voice Talk in the ready-to-listen state for an extended period of time can drain the phone s battery. Live Panel Widgets Your customer can adjust the Touchwiz Live Panel to suit his or her lifestyle. To access the widgets, long press on the Home Screen, then select Widgets. Finance Make a Folder in App Drawer If your customer wants to be super organized when it comes to their apps, show them how to create folders to suit their needs. Go to Applications > Menu > Edit. Drag and drop the desired apps into the Add Folder icon. Once all of the desired apps have been added, press Menu > Save and then select Yes when the Add Folder? prompt appears.

6 TOP DEMOS Quickly Adjust Brightness When using the Galaxy S II, it is easy to quickly adjust the brightness of the screen. In order to use this function, make sure automatic brightness is turned off. Turn it down when you need to be discreet, or up when in direct sunlight. Hold a finger on the top menu bar and drag right to increase brightness, or left to dim brightness. Built-in Cameras The Samsung Galaxy S II has a rear-facing 8.0 megapixel camera and a front-facing 2.0 megapixel camera for capturing both photos and videos. The front-facing camera is ideal for video chatting and for self-portraits, while the rear-facing camera has an LED flash for low-light settings and can record in full HD.
