Powerful hardware The new Illumina is powered by a 1Ghz dual core processor, making it 66% faster than its predecessor. Page turning is lightning fast, books open quickly and the Android operating system (custom shell) works fluently. Android 4.2: access to thousands of apps The Illumina is pre-installed with apps like an client and ebook reader. But you can even install your own apps (APK files). Android 4.2 guarantees compatibility with most apps. Install your favorite reading, social media or productivity apps. Or what about a comic book reader? The possibilities are endless. Easy to use The Illumina can be used via the capacitive touchscreen, (including pinch to zoom functionality) but also using the physical (page turning ) buttons. Page turning buttons on both sides make the Illumina ideal for right- and lefthanded readers. Easily increase or decrease the font size via Pinch to Zoom or access the many formatting options (font type, size, margins, line spacing, bookmarks and more) by tapping the screen.
