1 You will have two short pieces, four corner pieces, and seven long pieces (all the same size). You should have at least 7 stakes. The net should be attached to one of the long pieces, DO NOT let it fall off! It is important t to keep this on when setting up and taking down. 2 First set the bag with all the goal parts down at about 9 feet out from the goal line, right in the center. Center of field

3 Next unload all the goal pieces Be sure to set them out in the Next unload all the goal pieces. Be sure to set them out in the proper order, this will make it easier to set up. Use the diagram below to help you with this set up process.

4 Net if the net is off the post, you may have to weave it back on. Do not attempt to do this on a pole, instead, use your arm. Lay the net out flat on the ground and start at #1. Put the first link on your arm, then weave in every other one, being sure to get the corner ones on your arm. Then thread it on the long center pole..

5 Next put the two small pieces on each end of the piece with the net attached.. 1 2

6 Next attach two longer pieces, to the short pieces which you have put in the end of the net piece. All long pieces are the same size.

8 Now attach the long poles to these corner pieces on both ends.

11 Attach the last two long pieces to the corner pieces. These will be straight up in the air.

12 How to set up a U10-12 Goal With two people people, walk the posts into the upright position (1) (1). One person on each side. Notice, someone must ALWAYS be standing on one of the poles (2) that is laying on the ground, otherwise it may fall forward. Safety First! 1 2

13 Now take the net and move it across the pole in both directions (1). You will need to move it all the way around the corner (2). 2 1

14 How to set up a U10-12 Goal Pull the corner back to the back of the pole pole. Be sure to have the corner (usually indicated by the thicker rope in pic 1 blue arrow) properly pulled back. Then wrap the rope around the stake, and drive it in at an angle (see pic 2 green arrow). This will help prevent the goal from falling forward. Try not to drive the stake straight down, this makes it to easy to come straight out! 1 Angle YES 2 Straight down NO!

15 How to set up a U10-12 Goal Next secure the front of the goal post. The back of the pole must b against be i the h BACK off the h goall line. li S Law See L GOALS listed li d below. Now do the same for the other side! 1.3 Goals The goals must be securely anchored to the ground. For safety reasons, if the goals are not securely anchored to the ground, the match shall not be played. In the event that the posts of portable goals are not the same dimensions as the goal line, the plane of the back edge of the post must be aligned with the plane of the outer edge of the goal line line.

16 How to set up a U10-12 Goal Check is the goal centered centered, and do the bottom legs bow out? If so, remove the stakes from one side and push the bottom corner in to get both posts straight and remove the bow from the cross bar.

17 How to set up a U10-12 Goal Find the center of the net from behind the goal. goal Put a stake in, in again, on an angle. If you put it straight in, it will come straight out.

18 Find the center between the center stake and the end. You should have three stakes for the back of the net. One center and two for in-between center. They go in at an angle, not straight in!
